### Intro
Wardancer is a class that is oriented on heavy swiftness which increased attack speed, move speed and reduces cooldown. In tier 1 and tier 2, it is more oriented towards bursting which slowly moves to a more fast pace sustained damage the higher in tier 3 you go and unlock better tripods and gems that will reduce cooldowns even further. They have the best attack power party synergy buff and crit resistance debuff on bosses, which makes Wardancer a desirable class in any raid setup. It also offers high amounts of stagger where all attacks benefit from back attacks it is not a required playstyle as you don't have to build it that way.

### Build Breakdown
- :skill[Esoteric Skill: Call of the Wind God] is your main damage dealing skill. You will always want to make sure you use it after buffing yourself.
- :skill[Esoteric Skill: Blast Formation] is your secondary damage dealing skill. Alternate between :skill[Esoteric Skill: Call of the Wind God] depending which is off cooldown.
- :skill[Sky Shattering Blow] is your counter skill. It is very fast and becomes really easy to counter bosses. With correct tripods it gives a 3 second attack power buff and farms identity gauge.
- :skill[Moon Flash Kick] is your identity gauge farming skill that also has a decent amount of stagger and damage.
- :skill[Flash Heat Fang] is your stagger and destruction skill that also provides decent amount of identity gauge.
- :skill[Wind's Whisper] is a self buffing and party wide buffing skill that gives 35% attack power 16% move speed and 8% attack speed for 6 seconds.
- :skill[Roar of Courage] is a skill that debuffs the boss giving them -10% crit resistance for 6 seconds.
- :skill[Energy Combustion] is your main identity gauge farming skill that also gives you damage reduction for its whole duration which lasts for 20 seconds. Make sure it is always active and running.
- :skill[Ultimate Skill: Fist of Dominance] is your main awakening skill

### Skill Points Progression
- At 268 skill points add :tripod[Flash Heat Fang, Weak Point Detection] to :skill[Flash Heat Fang]
- At 284 skill points add :tripod[Sky Shattering Blow, Ready Attack] to :skill[Sky Shattering Blow]
- At 296 skill points remove :tripod[Sky Shattering Blow, Ready Attack] from :skill[Sky Shattering Blow] and add :tripod[Flash Heat Fang, Adrenaline Rush] to :skill[Flash Heat Fang]
- At 312 skill points add :tripod[Sky Shattering Blow, Ready Attack] to :skill[Sky Shattering Blow]
- At 328 skill points add :tripod[Energy Combustion, Intense Battle] to :skill[Energy Combustion]
- At 356 skill points add :tripod[Sky Shattering Blow, Abundant Resources] to :skill[Sky Shattering Blow]
- At 356+ skill points upgrade :skill[Esoteric Skill: Call of the Wind God] and :skill[Esoteric Skill: Blast Formation] to level 11 and other skills as you unlock more skill points

### Combat stats
Wardancer is a melee fighter that relies on high amounts of attack speed, movement speed and cooldown reduction and for that reason you want to prioritize **Swiftness** as a main stat while adding **Specialization** as a secondary stat on necklace. You will want to have 80% of Swiftness and 20% of Specialization for most optimal end game setup.

### Runes
- :rune[Galewind, 3] on :skill[Esoteric Skill: Call of the Wind God] and :skill[Esoteric Skill: Blast Formation] for faster cast speed
- :rune[Wealth, 3] on :skill[Moon Flash Kick], :skill[Energy Combustion] and :skill[Flash Heat Fang] for full identity gauge farming
- :rune[Focus, 4] on :skill[Wind's Whisper] and :skill[Roar of Courage] for mana consumption reduction
- :rune[Bleed, 3] on :skill[Sky Shattering Blow] as it has low cooldown and its spammable

### Engravings
In TIER 1 and TIER 2 it is fairly hard to get the optimal starter engraving set, as it requires a lot of luck to get engraving stats on all accessories, which also goes against you since you will have to change these accessories every time you progress to a different tier. For early TIER 3 engravings you should aim for a level 3 :engraving[Esoteric Skill Enhancement] and :engraving[Raid Captain] as it goes well with high swiftness and high move speed. You will want to periodically add other engravings in no specific order :engraving[Grudge], :engraving[Keen Blunt Weapon], :engraving[Adrenaline] and :engraving[Increases Mass] as your final ultimate end game engraving setup. You can also alternate and add :engraving[Ambush Master] as Wardancers benefit from back attacks.

### Gems
Gems are split into two types, attack gems and cooldown gems. You can equip 11 gems at the same time but they cannot be for the same skill.

For attack gems you want to go for:
1. :skill[Esoteric Skill: Call of the Wind God]
2. :skill[Esoteric Skill: Blast Formation]
3. :skill[Moon Flash Kick]
4. :skill[Flash Heat Fang]
5. :skill[Energy Combustion]

For cooldown gems you want to go for:

### Gameplay and Skill Rotation
Wardancer skill rotation relies heavy on farming the identity gauge and having your main buff and boss debuff ready to then use both of your esoteric skills during those 6 seconds.

Main identity gauge farm rotation:
1. :skill[Energy Combustion] for constant identity gauge farm
2. :skill[Moon Flash Kick]
3. :skill[Flash Heat Fang]

Main damage rotation when full identity:
1. :skill[Wind's Whisper] self buff
2. :skill[Roar of Courage] boss debuff
3. :skill[Esoteric Skill: Call of the Wind God]
4. :skill[Esoteric Skill: Blast Formation]
5. Repeat identity farm rotation and wait for cooldowns

The whole rotation is very simple and it might seem very boring as you always do the same thing, but due to low cooldowns you will have almost 0 downtime and it will feel super fast to keep doing same rotation all the time. You need good knowledge of boss mechanics and good positioning but even if you miss your main damage skills it doesn't matter in the long run as your cooldowns are low and you will have those skills back within 10 seconds. Always buff yourself first and debuff boss before you use awakening skill too.

### Summary

Wardancer - Esoteric Skill Enhancement Raid Build

### Intro
The build for Cube and Chaos Dungeon heavily focuses on large amounts of AOE with addition to few big burst skills that will help you in clearing out elite mobs and bosses. Build relies on maximizing the identity meter farm while using your AOE skills on cooldown for maximum damage and efficiency. In general both Chaos Dungeons and Cube is easy to complete.

### Skill Progression
- At 268 skill points add :tripod[Seismic Strike, Law of the Jungle] to :skill[Seismic Strike]
- At 284 skill points add :tripod[Lightning Kick, Thunder Kick] to :skill[Lightning Kick]
- At 296 skill points remove :tripod[Lightning Kick, Thunder Kick] from :skill[Lightning Kick] and add :tripod[Seismic Strike, Great Earthquake] to :skill[Seismic Strike]
- At 312 skill points add :tripod[Lightning Kick, Thunder Kick] to :skill[Lightning Kick]
- At 328 skill points add :tripod[Energy Combustion, Intense Battle] to :skill[Energy Combustion]
- At 356 skill points add :tripod[Lightning Strike, Flash Lightning] to :skill[Lightning Strike]
- At 356+ skill points prioritize getting level 11 on :skill[Esoteric Skill: Call of the Wind God] and :skill[Sweeping Kick] while you add more level 11 skills as you acquire more skill points

### Build Breakdown
For maximum effectiveness you will want to have **312** skills points. You can get away with having less, but minimum you need to aim for is **296** skill points. This will allow you to have optimized build with important tripods that will make your life easier while clearing large amounts of mobs.

- :skill[Esoteric Skill: Call of the Wind God] is your bread and butter AOE skill that you want to always use whenever it comes out from cooldown. It provides a large AOE capabilities in clearing large amounts of trash mobs.
- :skill[Sweeping Kick] is a very strong skill for bursting elite mobs and bosses that provides a small amount of linear AOE.
- :skill[Wind's Whisper] is your buff skill that gives a lot of attack speed, critical strike and attack power to help with damage and speed in clearing out mobs.
- :skill[Roar of Courage] is used to debuff mobs, elites and bosses and gives them -10% critical resistance.
- :skill[Swift Wind Kick] is your filler skill that you want to use when everything else is on cooldown. It also generates a high amount of identity meter.
- :skill[Seismic Strike] is another filler skill that you use for clearing trash mobs with its AOE.
- :skill[Energy Combustion] gives you a nice stagger and damage reduction, while passively doing small damage and generating identity gauge. You want to have this active every time it is available.
- :skill[Lightning Kick] offers high mobility and it's a very spammable ability due to it's low cooldown.
- :skill[Fist of Dominance] is your awakening skill that you want to use on elite mobs and bosses.

### Combat stats
Wardancer is a melee fighter that relies on high amounts of attack speed, movement speed and cooldown reduction and for that reason you want to prioritize **Swiftness** as a main stat while adding **Specialization** as a secondary stat on necklace. The stats are not that much important in Chaos Dungeons and Cubes as the content is easy to clear, as long as you have the right build and right tripods.

### Runes
As with combat stats, runes are also not as important, but you will want to have few that will speed up your attacks.

- Bleed on :skill[Seismic Strike]

### Gameplay and Rotation
Regardless of Chaos Dungeon and Cube being easy to complete you should always aim to make life easy for yourself by having some sort of a rotation, and using your buffs/debuffs to increase stats. Knowing how to control the large groups of mobs, kiting them and luring into big piles will speed up the process of clearing the content and save you a lot of time.

1. Before doing anything you want to activate :skill[Energy Combustion] for passive damage ticks, stagger and identity gauge farm.
2. In stage 1 group all the mobs together and use :skill[Lightning Kick] and :skill[Seismic Strike] to clear the first group. 
3. For second group you will have your identity meter filled, so you want to buff and debuff mobs with :skill[Wind's Whisper] and :skill[Roar of Courage] then proceed to clear them out with :skill[Esoteric Skill: Call of the Wind God].
4. Keep repeating steps 1, 2 and 3 while adding filler skills when you wait for cooldowns.
5. In stage 2 you will want to group up all the elites, use buffs and debuffs :skill[Wind's Whisper] and :skill[Roar of Courage] and blast them with your awakening :skill[Fist of Dominance].
6. Repeat the process from steps 1, 2 and 3
7. When Boss appears you will want to do the same rotation as in step 5.
8. For stage 3 it is the same as stage 1, where you will group all the mobs and use your AOE skills to clear them out, while buffing/debuffing yourself and mobs.

Same can be applied in Cube, it might be a little bit different as there's four players and you might not be able to group up mobs perfectly like you can in Chaos Dungeon, but regardless of that the build will serve you well in all the content where AOE is required.

### Summary
- Make sure you use :skill[Energy Combustion] on cooldown and have it active all time to farm identity gauge so you can spam :skill[Esoteric Skill: Call of the Wind God] more often.
- Don't be afraid to use your awakening :skill[Fist of Dominance] whenever its available.
- Always focus on grouping up mobs before you do any kind of AOE damage.
- Don't be afraid to use :skill[Wind's Whisper] and :skill[Roar of Courage] to buff/debuff on cooldown.
- Using :skill[Seismic Strike] on cooldown to apply bleeding effect can speed up the clearing.

Current end game Engraving setup would be :engraving[Grudge] 3 :engraving[Raid Captain] 3 :engraving[Increases Mass] 3 :engraving[Adrenaline] 3 :engraving[Awakening] 2 :engraving[Esoteric Skill Enhancement] 1 (Please note, :engraving[Increases Mass] 3, :engraving[Adrenaline] 3, :engraving[Keen Blunt Weapon] 3, and :engraving[Cursed Doll] 3 can be interchanged and have similar output.  In my opinion, :engraving[Increases Mass] and :engraving[Adrenaline] are the way to go.)

Use Light of Salvation 12 for Vykas G2 + G3, or in place of LWC if you have 18+ awakening!

Dominion Fang Relic Set.  Hallucination can be used with a more advanced 3 spender build which is a bit janky right now because we do not have Bracelets, or the updated Hallucination set that KR has yet, but is a build I am interested in exploring later on.

Spec/Swift Necklace, 1x Spec Ring, rest Swift.  This can be tuned to your liking, more Spec increases downtime between Dominion Fang buff, which we want to upkeep as much as possible for DPS.  More swift can cause overlap of uptime on Dominion Fang Buff and reduce your overall damage because Spec contributes to your Esoteric Spender skill damage.  The Split that is run here is specifically to maximize uptime on Inner Awakening buff from Dominion Fang as a priority without overlap, while maximizing Spec past that so Esoteric Spender skills hit as hard as possible.

Please refer to this chart to see breakpoints for Swiftness with Dominion Fang.  My current build has 1400 swiftness, no :rune[Conviction, 4] or :rune[Judgment, 4], and :engraving[Awakening] 2, resulting in only 4 seconds of downtime.  If I was less poor, or this wasn't an alt, I would aim for 1500+ swiftness with higher quality accessories in order to have 0 downtime.
