### Intro
Sharpshooter is the only class that can utilize both class engravings at the same time. Using both :engraving[Death Strike] and :engraving[Loyal Companion] revolves around same playstyle, which is building up identity gauge to utilize :idskill[Summon Silverhawk] that will give you access to :idskill[Wings of Storm] and :idskill[Last Rush]. Building identity gauge goes really well with several tripods on several skills, while all hard hitting skills have crit chance increase on their tripod to maximize the damage. Sharpshooter is a mix of ranged and melee where doing damage is done from range at all times, while farming identity gauge requires you to be in melee. 

### Skill points progression
- At 268 skill points add :tripod[Deadly Slash, Sawtooth Blade] to :skill[Deadly Slash]
- At 284 skill points add :tripod[Moving Slash, Silver Master] to :skill[Moving Slash]
- At 312 skill points add :tripod[Deadly Slash, Double Slash] to :skill[Deadly Slash]
- At 328 skill points add :tripod[Atomic Arrow, Enhanced Arrowhead] to :skill[Atomic Arrow]
- At 328+ skill points upgrade :skill[Snipe], :skill[Sharp Shooter] and :skill[Arrow Wave] to level 11, as you upgrade other skills to level 11 when you unlock more skill points

### Build Breakdown
For maximum effectiveness and utilizing everything Sharpshooter has to offer the required skill points is **312**. You can get away with less, but not less than **296**. Skill points are easy to obtain and you should put priority in reaching **312** before you are in TIER 3. 

- :skill[Snipe] is your bread and butter when it comes to highest damage. You need make sure you always hit with perfect zone for maximum damage.
- :skill[Arrow Wave] is another high damage dealing skill
- :skill[Charged Shot] is you main damage dealing skill with **Stagger**. You are using :tripod[Charged Shot, Fast Fire] tripod for instant release once you reach first stage.
- :skill[Sharp Shooter] is your second **Stagger** skill that deals medium to high damage
- :skill[Moving Slash] is your main reposition skill that is also used for farming identity gauge on a low cooldown with :tripod[Moving Slash, Silver Master] tripod.
- :skill[Atomic Arrow] is used with :tripod[Atomic Arrow, Amplified Damage] tripod for a party wide synergy buff that you can constantly re-apply on cooldown. It also provides a decent amount of **Stagger**.
- :skill[Deadly Slash] is your only **Counter** skill that also charges identity gauge in melee range.
- :skill[Blade Storm] is your melee ranged skill that farms and charges identity gauge.
- :skill[Golden Eye] is the preferred Awakening skill as it is almost instant and provides high amount of damage compared to :skill[Fenrir's Messenger] which is a charge skill.

### Combat Stats
Main Sharpshooter combat stats is Crit as it going really well and capitalizes with high crit chance and crit damage from your tripods. You will want to go for 80% in Crit and 20% in Specialization, which means all accessories with Crit and necklace with Crit and Specialization. Alternatively you can run 60% Crit 20% Specialization and 20% Swiftness if you want some extra attack speed, move speed and cooldown reduction.

### Runes
- :rune[Wealth, 3] on :skill[Blade Storm] and :skill[Deadly Slash]
- :rune[Galewind, 3] on :skill[Snipe] and :skill[Arrow Wave]
- :rune[Overwhelm, 3] on :skill[Charged Shot] and :skill[Sharp Shooter]
- :rune[Rage, 4] on :skill[Moving Slash]
- :rune[Bleed, 3] on :skill[Atomic Arrow]

### Engravings
In TIER 1 and TIER 2 it is fairly hard to get the optimal starter engraving set, as it requires a lot of luck to get engraving stats on all accessories, which also goes against you since you will have to change these accessories every time you progress to a different tier. In general you should aim to have :engraving[Death Strike] , which provides 40% damage increase at level 3 that lasts 8 seconds and gives you a burst window to use all your damaging skills, and :engraving[Loyal Companion] which provides 8% movement speed and adds 14% damage increase to the boss, while also providing extra 30% in identity gauge recovery. :engraving[Hit Master] engraving synergizes well with Sharpshooter as most high damaging skills don't require back or front attacks.

Once you get into TIER 3 you need to start working on the optimal engraving setup, which is :engraving[Death Strike] level 3, :engraving[Loyal Companion] level 3, :engraving[Grudge] level 3, while adding with time :engraving[Keen Blunt Weapon], :engraving[Cursed Doll] and :engraving[Hit Master].

### Gems
Gems are split into two types, attack gems and cooldown gems. You can equip 11 gems at the same time but they cannot be for the same skill.

For attack gems you want to go for:
1. :skill[Snipe]
2. :skill[Charged Shot]
3. :skill[Arrow Wave]
4. :skill[Sharp Shooter]
5. :skill[Blade Storm]
6. :idskill[Last Rush]
7. :skill[Atomic Arrow]

### Gameplay and Skill Rotation 

1. If your identity gauge, Hawk Meter, is not full you will want to start of with farming the gauge:

- :skill[Moving Slash]
- :skill[Blade Storm]
- :skill[Deadly Slash]

2. Proceed with damage rotation and identity farming rotation until your gauge is full:

- :skill[Snipe]
- :skill[Charged Shot]
- :skill[Sharp Shooter]
- :skill[Arrow Wave]

3. When your identity gauge is full and you damage skills are off cooldown you proceed with the full rotation in this order:

- :skill[Atomic Arrow] - For 6% amplified damage
- :idskill[Summon Silverhawk] - to activate identity skills
- :idskill[Wings of Storm] - AOE hawk skill to apply 14% damage increase
- :idskill[Last Rush] - burst hawk damage that applies 40% damage increase
- :skill[Golden Eye] - Awakening skill
- :skill[Snipe]
- :skill[Charged Shot]
- :skill[Sharp Shooter]
- :skill[Arrow Wave]

4. After full rotation your identity gauge will be at 50-60% so you go back to step 1 and repeat the whole process. If some of your damaging skills are not off cooldown and your hawk skills are ready, use them without waiting for cooldowns and damage as they come off the cooldown.

You will always want to start off with charging and farming your identity gauge, or to skip the process of the initial farming you can use :skill[Awakening Potion] before the fight which will make your identity gauge 100% from the start. When your gauge is full you want to use the full benefits of your class engravings :engraving[Death Strike] and :engraving[Loyal Companion] while adding Amplified Damage from :skill[Atomic Arrow] for a 60% burst damage window of 8 seconds. In your first rotation you always want to use :skill[Golden Eye] your awakening skill and finish off with four main damage dealing skills :skill[Snipe], :skill[Charged Shot], :skill[Sharp Shooter], :skill[Arrow Wave]. If you gain full identity gauge sooner then your main damage skills are off cooldown, you can proceed with applying damage increase buffs and use the skills to deal damage as they come of cooldown. Its important that you use at least 2 out of 4 damaging skills in that burst window. On the other hand if your skills are all off the cooldown but your identity gauge is not, you should wait with dealing damage and focus on farming the gauge for maximum damage efficiency.

### Summary

- Use your class engravings to apply big damage increase buffs to deal massive amounts of damage in 8 seconds window.
- Your biggest damage comes from :skill[Snipe] and :idskill[Last Rush].
- Your biggest identity farm comes from :skill[Blade Storm] and :skill[Deadly Slash], even more if you have Wealth rune applied on both of them.
- Focus on 80% Crit and 20% Specialization for combat stats.
- :engraving[Grudge] is one of the best combat engravings for Sharpshooter.

Sharpshooter - Raid/Single Target Build

### Intro
Sharpshooter in PVP is sort of a melee assassin that goes in and out of fights in a quick manner and while also providing decent peeling potential for your teammates with his ranged capabilities. Most meta build relies on using **Stealth** to go in, do damage and get out while waiting for your cooldowns to come back. It can also be used in a more supportive role, but in this guide we are only going to cover the most meta damage dealing build. With good positioning and understanding of the PVP map, Sharpshooter can be devastating in a battle.

### Skill breakdown
- :skill[Salvo] is your **Stealth** skill, that you should be using only when you are about to go in for damage. Its not good for escaping as you can get pulled out of stealth fairly easy if opponent sees you going in stealth
- :skill[Atomic Arrow] has a low cooldown and is used to apply movement reduction for 3 seconds and a knockdown on the final explosion. It requires aim and you should use it mainly on opponents that are already knocked down or stunned, for a free second knockdown.
- :skill[Charged Shot] is your damaging skill that is also used for knocking down opponents which can also help when you teammates are in trouble. With Fast Fire tripod it has instant release and be used in close melee range.
- :skill[Snipe] is your main damage deal skill that has long range and it is RNG depending if your crit or not. Use it only when you have 100% guaranteed hit and you cannot get interrupted otherwise it is a big waste.
- :skill[Moving Slash] is your main repositioning and engaging skill. You will want to combo it with :skill[Salvo] to get close to the opponent. Hitting someone will stagger them for a short duration which gives you enough time for the rest of the combo. It has low cooldown so don't be afraid to use it on cooldown to dodge and runaway from opponents.
- :skill[Stalker] is your second reposition/dodge skill that has fairly low cooldown and grants you movement speed upon landing on your feet, while it knocks down opponent if you hit him with it.
- :skill[Claymore Mine] is your main engaging skill that stuns opponents in a cone shaped area. Use it aggressively to engage, passively to defend yourself or to help your teammates that are in trouble.
- :skill[Blade Storm] is a skill that you will only use in a one specific combo, but it can also be used as a filler skill if opponent is stunned or knocked down to apply poison debuff.

### Combat stats
There are three different combat stats setup that you can use depending on your playstyle

- 750 **Swiftness** , 1 **Critical** and 249 **Domination** for more damage
- 750 **Swiftness**,  1 **Critical** and 249 **Specialization** for identity gauge farm
- 750 **Swiftness**,  250 **Critical** for max :skill[Snipe] damage and higher crit chance

### Combos
There are two viable combos you use in your games depending on the classes your are up against

**Combo #1**
1. Start with :skill[Salvo] to get in stealth outside opponents vision
2. :skill[Moving Slash] into an isolated player that is separated from rest of the team, hitting the skill will apply stagger for short duration off of which you combo rest of the skills
3. :skill[Blade Storm] to apply additional stagger and poison debuff
4. :skill[Charged Shot] for an instant knock down and damage
5. :skill[Atomic Arrow] to apply 50% movement reduction and another knock down if the opponent uses his spacebar to get up
6. If opponent does use space bar to get up wait for second knock down and use :skill[Snipe] for additional damage, and if he doesn't use space bar to get up, then simply walk away and wait for cooldowns

**Combo #2**
1. Start with :skill[Salvo] to get in stealth outside opponents vision
2. :skill[Claymore Mine] for an in stealth stun
3. :skill[Moving Slash] to close the distance and get in melee range
4. :skill[Blade Storm] for additional stagger, pushback and poison debuff
5. Start charging :skill[Snipe] during duration of :skill[Blade Storm] for maximum damage
6. :skill[Atomic Arrow] if its safe and nobody is around to apply movement speed reduction and second knock down

### Gameplay
- Use :skill[Salvo] stealth efficiently to prepare for the combo. You don't always have to go into a combo after you use the skill, only go for a combo when you find the right isolated target, otherwise be ready to disengage and wait for cooldown and try again in few seconds.
- Hit and run playstyle is the name of the game for Sharpshooter in PVP and having knowledge of the map, how vision works from different angles and perspectives and knowing where your team and opponents are will benefit you massively.
- As soon as the gates open, use :skill[Moving Slash] and Space bar to get to the half of the arena and start charging :skill[Snipe] instantly. With increased range tripod you can knock down multiple opponents from out of their vision range before the match even started and waste their space bar early
- Use :skill[Moving Slash] , :skill[Stalker] and :skill[Claymore Mine] both defensively and offensively to create space for your team, help get you out of trouble or engage fights
- :skill[Snipe] is your highest dealing damage that relies on RNG. You will either delete half hp of anyone you hit with it if you crit, or still deal decent amount of damage while knocking everyone down. Don't be afraid to use it on cooldown if you are not being pressured and you feel safe.
- Go for combos when opportunity presents itself, don't waste cooldowns of certain skills unless they are used in a combo. They are not worth using one at a time.
- Keep applying :skill[Atomic Arrow] on cooldown while it adds 50% movement reduction and a knock down. It requires decent aim, or simply use when your teammates knock or stun an opponent.
- Once your identity meter is full, keep your Hawk active while you use :skill[Wings of Storm] for small AOE damage. Having hawk active gives you movement speed buff and the hawk will deal small damage on its own too. Use :skill[Last Rush] when you have an opponent knocked down or stunned for additional damage. It also provides you with push immunity during use while knocks down everyone it hits.
- :skill[Golden Eye] is preferred awakening skill that lifts opponents up in the air and then knocks them down while giving you stealth. If you time your :skill[Snipe] right you can deal additional damage. Use it both offensively and defensively in combination with :skill[Moving Slash] and :skill[Claymore Mine].

### Summary
- Sharpshooter is both melee and range assassin that works best with a hit and run playstyle
- Always stay close to the edges of the arena for maximum visibility and safety
- You have several push immunity skills and escapes
- Keep your opponents horizontally from your POV to abuse the vision ranges
- Take your time to find perfect isolated target to use combos on

### Intro
In 1v1's Sharpshooter is probably one of the best ranged classes due to its sheer amount of utility and follow up damage it can do. You don't rely on your team, you don't need to peel for anyone, its just you and your opponent. Utilizing **Stealth** to its fullest potential combined with hard stuns and slows you have at your disposal, Sharpshooter is one of the most annoying classes to play against in 1v1's. It has its weaknesses against certain classes, but it just requires a bit of slower or a faster pace depending on the opposing class.

### Skill breakdown
- :skill[Salvo] is your **Stealth** skill, that you should be using only when you are about to go in for damage. Its not good for escaping as you can get pulled out of stealth fairly easy if opponent sees you going in stealth

- :skill[Golden Eye] is preferred awakening skill that lifts opponents up in the air and then knocks them down while giving you stealth. 

### Combat stats
There are two different combat stats setup that you can use depending on your playstyle

- 750 **Swiftness** , 1 **Critical** and 249 **Domination** for more damage

### Combos
Same as in 3v3's you have two combos, where first one is the same while second combo is slightly different.

**Combo #1**

2. :skill[Moving Slash] into an player, hitting the skill will apply stagger for short duration off of which you combo rest of the skills
3. :skill[Blade Storm] to apply additional stagger and poison debuff
4. :skill[Charged Shot] for an instant knock down and damage
5. :skill[Atomic Arrow] to apply 50% movement reduction and another knock down if the opponent uses his spacebar to get up
6. If opponent does use space bar to get up wait for second knock down and use :skill[Snipe] for additional damage, and if he doesn't use space bar to get up, then simply walk away and wait for cooldowns

**Combo #2**
1. Spam :skill[Shadow Arrow] until you are able to stun for 3 seconds
2. Apply :skill[Atomic Arrow] and instantly start charging :skill[Snipe] for double knock down
3. Follow up with :skill[Moving Slash] to close the distance
4. :skill[Blade Storm] + :skill[Charged Shot] combo to finish off with damage and 3rd knock down

### Gameplay
There is one very simple playstyle in 1v1's that make Sharpshooter very strong and annoying to deal with. You fully utilize the range and utility you have to not let anyone get close to you.

- Use :skill[Salvo] stealth engage against slow and ranged opponents by breaking their vision range first. Most ranged classes have close range AOE's that will pull you out of stealth before you even being combo, so don't rely too much on it.
- :skill[Claymore Mine] will only want to be used defensively as it is your only defensive skill. If you are confident and comfortable in dodging attacks then you can use it offensively, but keep in mind once your opponent is able to close the gap, you won't have anything to get you out.
- :skill[Shadow Arrow] is the most annoying skill and you will want to keep being annoying and applying movement speed reduction, vision reduction and eventually after 3 hits, a 3 second stun. You will want to combo straight after applying stun
- If you opponent is hugging the edge and is avoiding fighting you, its your time to go aggressive as he is most likely waiting for cooldowns, so use that to from range and engage once you have the opportunity.
- Keep applying :skill[Atomic Arrow] on cooldown while it adds 50% movement reduction and a knock down. It requires decent aim, or simply use it at the end of the combo.
- It is preferred to use :skill[Golden Eye] defensively once your opponent all-in's with everything, you just simply activate it and you have fully immunity and a 7 seconds stealth while dealing damage.
- Rely on your combos. In 1v1's as Sharpshooter after you use your main combo you can keep dodging and running away until your cooldowns are back. Then simply rinse and repeat.

### Summary
- Sharpshooter is an amazing class in 1v1's offering range capabilities with great utility usage for defensive purposes.
- Don't force engagements and always hug the edge of the arena while keeping the distance.
- Take your time to setup combos
- Abuse :skill[Shadow Arrow] as it is one of the best skills for 1v1's overall.

Sharpshooter - Team Elimination 1v1 Build

### Intro
This build focuses on heavy AOE damage by utilizing skills and tripods. Few of the skills are on a fairly low cooldown which allows you to spam abilities freely without any need for a skill rotation. In terms of difficulty both Chaos Dungeons and Cube are pretty easy to complete. 

### Skill Progression
- At 268 skill points add :tripod[DM-42, Greater Explosion] to :skill[DM-42]
- At 296 skill points add :tripod[DM-42, Incendiary Mine] to :skill[DM-42]
- At 296+ skill points you can start leveling all skills to level 11. Priority on :skill[Arrow Shower], :skill[Charged Shot], :skill[Rapid Shot] and :skill[Blade Storm] 

### Build Breakdown
For the most optimal build you will want to have 292 skill points, but you can very easy get away with having less, as long as you can have four keys skills at level 10. The four key skills you want to focus on are 

- :skill[Arrow Shower] 
- :skill[Blade Storm] 
- :skill[Charged Shot]
- :skill[Rapid Shot]

Of other four skills two are filler skills you use when your key skills are on cooldown and two are movement skills to help you dodge massive amounts of mobs chasing you. If you have less skill points they don't have to be on level 10. These skills are:

- :skill[Claymore Mine]
- :skill[DM-42]
- :skill[Moving Slash]
- :skill[Stalker]

### Combat Stats
Sharpshooter always uses Crit as a main stat and specialization as a secondary stat, but for Chaos Dungeons and Cube these stats are not as important as they are for raid content. As long as you have the right build and you level and use correct tripods on your skills, you won't have any issues clearing Chaos Dungeons and Cube with non-perfect combat stats.

### Runes
As with combat stats, runes setup also doesn't need to perfect as long as you have few key ones that will only help you clear it even faster and easier. Most important ones are:
- Wealth on :skill[Blade Storm]
- Galewind on :skill[Claymore Mine]
- Bleeding on :skill[Rapid Shot]

### Gameplay and Rotation
Chaos Dungeon and Cube is easy to complete, but regardless of that you should still make it easy for yourself by doing somewhat of a good rotation instead mashing all skills on cooldown. Having a good mob control and positioning for the best opening can be crucial if you are on a time crunch and trying to be as effective as you can by not wasting time. All skills deal huge amounts of AOE damage and knowing which rotation to have can only benefit you.

1. Gather all the mobs by running around them in circles into one big pile, then open with :skill[Arrow Shower] . This will clear the first group of mobs in one go and won't require you to use any other skills.
2. For next group of mobs that spawn you will do the same thing, group them up while running in circles, then use :skill[Blade Storm] . This should clear big majority of the mobs.
3. Alternating between :skill[Blade Storm] and :skill[Arrow Shower] while adding filler skills like :skill[Claymore Mine] and :skill[Rapid Shot] should be enough for Stage 1.
4. In stage 2, group up all small mobs and elites then open up with your Awakening skill :skill[Golden Eye]. This will clear everything and it will give you three cooldown orbs which will refresh your awakening in time for finals boss.
5. Keep grouping up mobs and using your four key skills to clear elites and filler skills when you are out of cooldowns.
6. When final boss of stage 2 appears use :skill[Rapid Shot] and :skill[Last Rush] (your identity hawk explosion skill) to debuff the boss and then use your awakening, which will one shot the boss.
7. In stage 3 same principle applies. Group up mobs and use key skills with filler skills as you need them. After you destroy the red crystal place :skill[DM-42] in the middle where Elite mob will appear and use :skill[Rapid Shot] + :skill[Claymore Mine] to clear the Elite fast. Keep repeating the same until you clear stage 3.

For Cube it is slightly more difficult as it requires four players, but the same principles can be applied from Chaos Dungeons. Focus on grouping up mobs in the middle of the room and use your abilities as they come from cooldown. You don't need any specific rotation as long as you don't take too much damage, you will be able to clear it.

### **Summary**
- Always group up all the mobs by running in circle and use one of the key skills
- For Elite mobs use Awakening skill on first group in stage 2, and then again on final Boss
- Make sure you use filler skills while others are on cooldown
- Bleeding rune on :skill[Rapid Shot] is most important for AOE build and fast clear

-:engraving[Loyal Companion] is priority engraving for faster gauge gain since you run little to no spec, followed by meta damage engravings like :engraving[Grudge] :engraving[Keen Blunt Weapon] :engraving[Cursed Doll]

Accessories should be all crit with swift on neck until Legion Relic sets. With Relic armor you change to full swiftness with Hallucination Set

-PS. My build aim is for a minimum of 6/6 ability stones so the more you can score on the stone the cheaper you can buy accessories to manage 5 max engravings and since 9/6 or 9/7 stone is whale territory to get 5 engraving max and 6th at level 1 I'm going to discard that in my build.

This is my all around PvE setup with a good mix of Single Target and AoE Damage with some Utility (CC/Mobility/Buffs). I like focusing on the "archer" aesthetic of the Sharpshooter so I avoid most of the melee skills like Deadly Slash and Blade Storm. 

**I don't have snipe yet so I've been using Electric Nova instead

Utility Skills:

-:skill[Rapid Shot] 4+ for 100% uptime on applying Amplify Damage debuff to enemies, if you get it to 7 the move speed buff is also nice.

-:skill[Claymore Mine] 4+ and :skill[Arrow Wave] 4+ both serve to create space between you and packs of enemies and provide some crowd control. The freeze on :skill[Arrow Wave] is really nice, at 7 I like the increased cast speed and jump back so it matches Claymore's built in jump back. Claymore reducing enemy attack power at 4 makes it still useful against bosses that are CC-immune.

-:skill[Moving Slash] 4+ is useful for mobility when your spacebar is on cooldown, honestly all of the lv4 augments sound good, at 7 getting extra Hawk seems like a nice bonus but this is probably the last skill I would level up.


Damage Skills:

-Arrow Rain 10 deals great AoE damage if the enemy stands still for 4 seconds, it combos great after an Arrow Wave which groups mobs tightly together and freezes them. It still does good boss damage against bosses that don't move around constantly.

-:skill[Charged Shot] 10 deals great AoE damage as long as you have the 3 seconds required to charge it, it combos great after a Claymore when enemies are coming at you in a line. It still deals good boss damage if you find the window to cast it.

-:skill[Sharpshooter] 10 is a nice almost-instant damage skill, compared to Arrow Rain and Charged Shot. I have it spec'd to maximize single target boss damage since Charged Shot and Arrow Rain already take care of all of your AoE needs.

-:skill[Snipe] 10 is probably going to be great against damage against bosses. Right now I'm using Electric Nova spec'd for single target damage, but you could probably swap this for any damage skill while leveling if you have a personal favourite.
