### **Intro**
Gunslinger is a class that uses three stances: pistol, rifle and shotgun. Pistol acts as a mobility stance, rifle as long range damage and shotgun as close range damage. Gunslinger has very high mobility and really good damage output. The hardest part of the class is managing stances and not dying since she is one of the squishiest classes. She performs really well against ranged classes.

### **Build Breakdown**

- :skill[Spiral Flame] is your catching/poking tool. Can be used to knock up opponents.  
- :skill[Focused Shot] is your second strongest sniper skill. Used to peel, if you have picked the Flash tripod, or do some ranged damage. Knocks down opponents.
- :skill[Perfect Shot] good damage with some cast time. Can be used to zone enemies away, hits targets without them having much time to react. 
- :skill[Catastrophe] strongest sniper skill. It is mainly used during a combo. Has push immunity.
- :skill[Sharpshooter] is a filler shotgun skill. Used as a combo finisher.
- :skill[Last Request] is your main shotgun damage skill. Has some movement with it.
- :skill[Hour of Judgment] is a filler shotgun skill.
- :skill[Dual Buckshot] is a second to go shotgun skill.
- :skill[Quick Step] is your mobility skill. Can be used to catch people. Has push immunity.
- :skill[Somersault Shot] is a movement skill. Has push immunity.
- :skill[Peacekeeper] is a movement skill. 
- :skill[Dexterous Shot] is a movement skill. Can be used to catch people.
- :skill[Spiral Tracker] debuffs the opponent and gives you 10% extra crit chance. 6 second uptime. Used to confirm catches or extend combos as well.
- :skill[Bullet Rain] is a movement skill with paralysis immunity. It is used to avoid getting staggered while self-peeling.
- :skill[Death Fire] is a movement skill with good catching capabilities. You only have to tap the skill.
- :skill[AT02 Grenade] is your hard CC tool. Use this to ensure a combo.
- :skill[High-Caliber HE Bullet] is the better ultimate due to it having a very fast cast time. Can use :skill[Eye of Twilight] for more damage but can easily miss the target.

### **Stats**
750 Swiftness, 249 Domination or Specialization, 1 Crit. Domination for more damage with combos, Specialization for more damage with rifle poking.

### **Gameplay**

Avoid running around in rifle or shotgun stance. Make sure you walk using the pistol stance since it is your mobility stance.

At the start, you should try to poke with your rifle. Using :skill[Spiral Flame] as a starter is generally a good idea to get some quick damage off. After that, you should play not that far from your team, around the edges of the map, and try to peel opponents off if they catch your teammate using :skill[Focused Shot] or :skill[AT02 Grenade]. Try to look for isolated players who you can easily catch using :skill[Death Fire], :skill[Quick Step], :skill[Dexterous Shot]. If you are facing a gunslinger, **do not** use :skill[Dexterous Shot] first, use it after they use it. 

General combo is: :skill[Spiral Tracker] to confirm the catch, go either rifle or shotgun stance, use :skill[Catastrophe] or :skill[Last Request], swap to pistol, use :skill[AT02 Grenade] to freeze them, swap to the stance you were not in, for example, the shotgun stance, use :skill[Last Request] into :skill[Dual Buckshot], the rifle stance, use :skill[Catastrophe] into :skill[Perfect Shot].
If you do not feel comfortable with your ping or skill, you can just use :skill[AT02 Grenade] into :skill[Last Request] or :skill[Catastrophe]. Any skill should work just fine.

Your main weakness is melee characters. They generally have a lot of paralysis immunity, meaning your main catching tools, excluding :skill[AT02 Grenade] and :skill[Focused Shot] with Flash tripod, will not work. This is where you have to learn to abuse your main strength - mobility. Skills that launch foes into the air like :skill[Spiral Flame], :skill[Catastrophe], :skill[Perfect Shot] and :skill[Last Request] can be used to catch these opponents. These skills, however, will be pointless to some opponents who have immunity to being knocked up, therefore, you have to have a general knowledge of all classes to know this kind of information.

### **Summary**

- Make sure to always be in pistol stance when you are doing nothing. If you get caught off-guard then it is most likely 70%-100% hp loss.
- Your biggest damage stance is the rifle.
- Make sure to not tunnel vision on the person you combo. Gunslinger does not have many paralysis immunity skills during her combo, meaning she can easily be interrupted.
- Gunslinger is a really strong class in PvP due to mobility and poking potential, make sure to abuse it.
- Gunslinger is not an easy class to learn. It takes quite a while to get used to it so do not get discouraged.

Gunslinger - 3v3 Deathmatch Build

### **Intro**
This Gunslinger build focuses on AoE skills to clear grouped mobs quickly.  The class has a good clearing rate. As Chaos dungeons/Cubes are not hard, engravings and gems do not matter. 

### **Build Breakdown**
To fully utilize Gunslinger's clearing, it is recommended to have  **308 skill points**.

- :skill[Focused Shot] is your boss killing skill. Can be used to clear trash mobs in a line.
- :skill[Sharpshooter] is one of your main clearing skills. Long casting time with very good AoE.
- :skill[Shotgun Rapid Fire] high damage skill with moderate cast time. Use it for elites or bosses. 
- :skill[Quick Step] is a self buff skill giving you good movement speed and attack speed. Can be used to move around.
- :skill[Somersault Shot] is a movement skill.
- :skill[Dexterous Shot] debuffs the boss and gives you 10% extra crit chance. 8 second uptime. Can be used to move around.
- :skill[Bullet Rain] is used to clear trash mobs while moving around. Filler skill.
- :skill[Death Fire] is a good AoE skill to clear trash mobs. Have to hold it and hit the perfect zone.
- :skill[Equilibrium] is one of your main AoE clearing skills.
- :skill[High-Caliber HE Bullet] is the better ultimate due to it having a fast casting time and good AoE. Can use :skill[Eye of Twilight] for more damage but can easily miss the target.
- If you have spare skill points, you can invest them into :skill[Spiral Flame]. Tripods should be 3-1-2. Has good clearing capabilities.

### **Skill Progression**

- At 268 skill points level :skill[Bullet Rain] to 7 and take :tripod[Bullet Rain, Ranged Shot]
- At 284 skill points level :skill[Dexterous Shot] to 7 and take :tripod[Dexterous Shot, Excellent Mobility]
- At 296 skill points remove levels from :skill[Dexterous Shot] and level :skill[Bullet Rain] to 10 and take :tripod[Bullet Rain, Flame Shot]
- At 312 skill points level :skill[Dexterous Shot] to 7 and take :tripod[Dexterous Shot, Excellent Mobility]
- At 336 skill points level :skill[Spiral Flame] to 7 and take :tripod[Spiral Flame, Quick Aim], :tripod[Spiral Flame, Growth Bullet]

### **Stats**
Gunslinger focuses mainly on Crit. Since this content is easy, stats should not be the bottle neck in clearing.

### **Runes**

- Galewind on :skill[Sharpshooter] and :skill[Focused Shot].
- Rage on :skill[Quick Step]
- Conviction and Judgement on :skill[Spiral Tracker] and :skill[Dexterous Shot]. Can use Quick Recharge instead if you do not have them.
### **Gameplay**

Gunslinger clearing gameplay is very simple. First buff yourself with :skill[Quick Step] and walk into a group of mobs. Use :skill[Equilibrium], :skill[Death Fire] or :skill[Sharpshooter] to clear the pack. For elites or boss use :skill[Focused Shot] and :skill[Shotgun Rapid Fire]. You can also dash out of the pack of mobs, group them into a line and make use of :skill[Focused Shot].

Use :skill[High-Caliber HE Bullet] whenever since in Chaos you get cooldown refreshes often.

Gunslinger - Chaos Dungeon/Cube Build

### **Intro**
This Gunslinger build uses the :engraving[Peacemaker] class engraving. This engraving boosts specific stats during a specific stance. It forces you to swap your stance every 9 seconds between pistol, shotgun and rifle. Gunslinger can be played as a hybrid - full range with rifle, medium range with pistol and close range with shotgun. The class is omnidirectional, which means she can attack from any side of the boss.

### **Build Breakdown**
To fully utilize Gunslinger it is recommended to have **340 skill points**, then the class will have smooth gameplay. Having **296 skill points** is doable but you will lack a little bit of mobility and substantial damage.

- :skill[Target Down] is your most important skill in the rotation. Try to use it whenever it's off cooldown. Mid stagger. Has **weak point lv.1**.
- :skill[Focused Shot] is your second most damaging skill.  Mid stagger. Has **weak point lv.1**.
- :skill[Perfect Shot] good damage with some cast time. Have to hit the perfect zone. Low stagger. Has **weak point lv.1**.
- :skill[Dual Buckshot] strongest shotgun skill with moderate cast time.  Low stagger.
- :skill[Sharpshooter] long casting skill with very high damage. Try to use it when the boss is doing a long attack. Mid stagger.
- :skill[Last Request] shotgun movement skill with mediocre damage. Can be cancelled at the end to fully use the movement. High stagger. Has **Counter**.
- :skill[Shotgun Rapid Fire] high damage skill with moderate cast time. Mid-high stagger.
- :skill[Quick Step] is a self buff skill giving you good movement speed and attack speed. Can be used to move around.
- :skill[Somersault Shot] is a movement skill.
- :skill[Peacekeeper] is a movement skill. Has **Counter**.
- :skill[Spiral Tracker] debuffs the boss and gives you 10% extra crit chance. 6 second uptime.
- :skill[Dexterous Shot] debuffs the boss and gives you 10% extra crit chance. 8 second uptime. Can be used to move around.
- :skill[Bullet Rain] is the strongest pistol skill. Use it as filler for when your main skills are down.
- :skill[Meteor Stream] is a filler skill when you need a bit more stagger.
- :skill[Equilibrium] is a filler skill for when your main skills are down.
- :skill[High-Caliber HE Bullet] is the better ultimate due to it having highest stagger and very fast cast time. Can use :skill[Eye of Twilight] for more damage but can easily miss the target.

- At 292 skill points level :skill[Peacekeeper] to 4 and take :tripod[Peacekeeper, Excellent Mobility],
- At 296 skill points level :skill[Dexterous Shot] to 4 and take :tripod[Dexterous Shot, Weakness Exposure]

### **Stats**
Gunslinger focuses mainly on Crit. You want to have around 70% crit chance to fully abuse :engraving[Keen Blunt Weapon] which is a really important engraving. You also want to aim for some Spec and Swiftness. 

Ideally you'd want to aim for Crit/Swift or Crit/Spec necklace, 3 Crit stat accessories and 1 Spec/Crit depending on what you got for the necklace. 

### **Runes**

- :rune[Galewind, 2] on  :skill[Shotgun Rapid Fire], :skill[Sharpshooter] and :skill[Focused Shot].
- :rune[Bleed, 4] or :rune[Galewind, 3] on :skill[Target Down]. 
- :rune[Rage , 3] on :skill[Quick Step]
- :rune[Conviction , 4] and :rune[Judgment, 4] on :skill[Spiral Tracker] and :skill[Dexterous Shot]. Can use Quick Recharge instead if you do not have them.

### **Engravings**

In the beginning, it's most important to focus on Lvl 1 :engraving[Peacemaker] and Lvl 3 :engraving[Adrenaline] or Lvl 3 :engraving[Hit Master]. Lvl 1 :engraving[Peacemaker] is good enough since Lvl 3 does not give that much of a boost to consider it over other possible options. Switching to shotgun stance for the crit chance and then using your Awakening skill will give extra chance to crit.

Later on you can grab :engraving[Keen Blunt Weapon] once you are above ~60% crit chance, :engraving[Grudge] only at Lvl 3 and :engraving[Cursed Doll].

### **Gems**

You want Damage gems on:

- :skill[Target Down]
- :skill[Dual Buckshot] 
- :skill[Focused Shot]
- :skill[Sharpshooter] 
- :skill[Shotgun Rapid Fire]

### **Gameplay**

Gunslinger gameplay is very simple. First you debuff with :skill[Spiral Tracker] or :skill[Dexterous Shot], since it gives you 10% extra chance to crit. Buff yourself with :skill[Quick Step]. Swap to either shotgun stance or rifle stance, depending on the situation. Use the 2 strongest skills you can. For shotgun it's :skill[Dual Buckshot] and :skill[Sharpshooter], for rifle it's :skill[Target Down] and :skill[Focused Shot]. With rifle you might want to use :skill[Perfect Shot] as a second skill since you might run out of debuff time. You use 2 skills at most because you have a timer of 6 seconds to abuse the crit debuff from :skill[Spiral Tracker] or :skill[Dexterous Shot]. With higher Swiftness you can maybe push for 3. Then you swap back to pistol, debuff and buff again and swap to the other stance that you didn't use last time. Rinse and repeat.

If there is a stagger mechanic then be in shotgun stance and use :skill[Last Request] first as it is your best stagger skill.

Your main plan is to avoid getting hit at any cost which means abusing :skill[Quick Step], :skill[Peacekeeper], :skill[Somersault Shot] and :skill[Dexterous Shot] for movement. **Do not** use your *spacebar* to move around. Use it only to cancel skills that might get you killed.

Avoid running around in rifle or shotgun stance. Make sure you walk using pistol stance since it is your mobility stance.

### **Summary**

- Make sure to keep swapping stances to abuse the Crit debuff and :engraving[Peacemaker] engraving.

- Do not use *spacebar* to move around. You have long animation locks, that's why you should save your *spacebar* to escape death.
- Gunslinger is one of the squishiest classes, so death comes quick if you cannot dodge incoming attacks.
- Gunslinger is not an easy class to learn. It takes quite a while to get used to it, therefore, do not get discouraged.

Gunslinger - Peacemaker Raid Build

Use LWC if you do not have LoS 18+ awakening, Use Light of Salvation 12 for Vykas G2 + G3.

Crit/Spec Necklace, 1x Spec ring, rest Crit.  This is what I like to use, you can adjust accordingly to run more Crit, Spec, or even add in Swiftness.

**Poem of Salvation** Relic Set.  Alternatively you can run **Nightmare Flower** set if you have higher weapon quality for more damage (check this chart [here](https://i.imgur.com/TCHrqbJ.png), 1st column is Weapon Quality, 2nd column is Nightmare, and 3rd column is Poem, so as you can see Nightmare starts to pull ahead ~40 Weapon Quality.  This assumes full uptime of Nightmare buff and does not account for 10% attack speed from max stacks on Poem set.)  Poem vs Nightmare can be debated to death, and at the end of the day I consider it to come down to personal preference.  If all conditions align perfectly, Crit/Spec Nightmare set will do the most damage.  With that being said, it feels slow and clunky to play compared to Crit/Swift Nightmare or Crit/Spec Poem, and if you don't play perfectly with perfect conditions, the other sets are not that far behind.

*Alternative 5x3 Engraving Setup:*
:engraving[Grudge] 3 :engraving[Hit Master] 3 :engraving[Keen Blunt Weapon] 3 :engraving[Adrenaline] 3 :engraving[Peacemaker] 3

This setup will probably be cheaper to build than 4x321 that I have.  With the recent KR balance patch, :engraving[Peacemaker] got a buff bringing this option more in-line with the current 4x321 build that we have.  It still falls slightly behind overall, but is perfectly viable and sets you up for potentially the min/max best build once Ancient Accessories come out for a 333332 build.  This requires a 9/7 stone, equivalent, or better in order to work though.  If you do not have this you still use :engraving[Peacemaker] 1 in a 333331 build.
