### Intro
This Glaivier build is made for both 1v1 and 3v3. It focuses on agility while constantly applying pressure to isolated targets and has a wide variety of CC capabilities. The main goal with this build is making your opponents waste their spacebar roll with Moon stance skills which will enable you to execute a high damage combo. The combo itself is very simple and requires a little bit of positioning but will drain the enemies HP bar in an instant if executed correctly.

### Skill Breakdown
- :skill[Chain Slash] is a movement skill that has a built in stagger on the dash and on the spear hit. It is only usable with :tripod[Chain Slash, Swoop] tripod for the movement range
- :skill[Flash Kick] is a movement skill that has a built in stagger immunity with extra movement range and stun on hit. It can be used offensively, defensively, to intercept opponents or simply get out of messy situation. Very powerful skill that can interrupt opponents combo as it has a very fast cast time
- :skill[Vault] has a very good range and knock-up where it can be used as a combo extender or a combo starter
- :skill[Half Moon Slash] is main skill for setting up damage combo
- :skill[Raging Dragon Slash] high damage moon skill that also gives a long knockback and knockdown on everyone it hits
- :skill[Wheel of Blades] with :tripod[Wheel of Blades, Tenacity] tripod gives you super armor which can be used defensively or to interrupt certain combos that your opponents are trying to do
- :skill[Spear Dive] is mainly used as a movement skill, combo starter or combo extender as it also staggers opponents
- :skill[Cutting Wind] does not offer any protection while using, and it is mainly used to deal damage or finish off low HP opponents
- :skill[Spiraling Spear], :skill[4-Headed Dragon] and :skill[Thrust of Destruction] are 3 skills that you will almost never use, and they don't require any skill points, but since there are extra 12 skill points you can just put 4 skill points into each of them
- :skill[Starfall Pounce] is used as a damage dealing extension or a movement skill to engage or disengage from the fights
- :skill[Dragonscale Defense] is defensive skill that offers immunity to staggers and knockdowns when used and counter-attacks by stunning the opponent if you get hit. Timing this correctly can be used as a combo starter
- :skill[Red Dragon's Horn] is main damage dealing skill that with selected tripods has 100% crit chance and 100% crit damage while hitting with the spear tip. Requires a bit of positioning but very easy to combo off your other skills. Only use it when you can secure a hit otherwise you will lose out on massive damage dealing tool
- :skill[Yeon-Style Spear Technique: Storming Red Dragon] is the preferred awakening in PVP as the other one can easily be dodged by simply walking away since it has a high cast time. Both of them can work in PVP, and each can suit a different playstyle
 
### Combat Stats
As Glaivier in PvP you want to go 750 **Swiftness** , 249 **Domination** and 1 **Crit** for that extra crit chance when it happens.

### Combos
There is only 1 main combo that you will want to use with this build and it can be executed in two different ways. Combo #1 requires you to burn the opponents space bar roll after knockdown. This is essential as the follow up damage combo will not work if the opponent can simply roll out and dodge. You can force the spacebar roll by using your other moon skills that offer a wide variety of knockdowns and knock-ups. Just make sure to save the ones you need to start the combo.

**Combo #1**
- If the opponent has spacebar roll available:
1. :skill[Vault] or :skill[Wheel of Blades] to burn the spacebar roll after knockdown
2. :skill[Raging Dragon Slash] for a high damage,  knockback and knockdown
3. Take 1-2 steps away from the target
4. Swap to Sun stance
5. Start charging up :skill[Red Dragon's Horn] and make sure you hit the opponent with the spear tip for maximum damage
6. Finish off with :skill[Starfall Pounce] for extra damage

**Combo #2**
- Combo #2 does not require you to burn your opponents spacebar roll but it will be easier to land the combo.

1. :skill[Half Moon Slash] will use a stationary tornado that will knock-up opponent in the air
2. Spacebar backwards while swapping to Sun stance simultaneously 
3. Start charging :skill[Red Dragon's Horn] as the opponent is falling down from tornado straight onto your hit.
4. If the timing was good and you were at good distance to hit with spear tip, the opponent won't have enough time to use space bar to roll out as he will get hit while he is still falling down
5. Finish off with :skill[Starfall Pounce] for extra damage

### Gameplay
- The main goal as a Glaivier in PVP is to be annoying and find isolated targets that you can focus
- Pay attention to what your teammates are doing and keep an eye out if they force any opponent to use their spacebar roll. If they do it, this will be your primary target to combo
- Depending if opponent has spacebar roll or not, execute one of the 2 combos to set yourself up for big damage
- You can play solo and be very selfish as you have a lot of movement skills that can get you in and out of fights really fast
- Always wait for your cooldowns before you go in and play defensive for couple seconds, while helping your teammates by peeling for them or setting them up for combo
- Baiting with :skill[Dragonscale Defense] is a great way to start the combo and set yourself or your teammates up for massive damage
- :skill[Flash Kick] and :skill[Starfall Pounce] can be both used to start combo for your teammate, interrupt opponent combos or be used defensively to get away from fights or peel for your teammates

### Summary
- Be annoying to ranged classes in the opposing team
- Glaivier is a fast melee class that can go in and out of fights quickly
- Don't force a combo if the setup isn't good
- Missing :skill[Red Dragon's Horn] with poor setup and not paying attention to your opponents spacebar roll cooldown will result in a massive damage loss
- Always force spacebar roll before any combo
- Use awakening when in a pinch and you need a getaway free card
- You have a lot of peeling skills to help teammates, but you can also play solo and be somewhat selfish
- Always play around teammates and be defensive while waiting for cooldowns
- Always be wary of your super armor skills as they can be used to get you out of pinch

### Intro
The Glaivier Chaos Dungeon and Cube build heavily focuses on large amounts of AOE damage, paired with a couple of single target big burst damage skills for faster clearing of elite mobs and bosses. The build relies mostly on sitting in your **Moon Stance** as Moon Skills have heavy AOE damage while swapping to **Sun Stance** when you are dealing with elite mobs and bosses to  burst them down with single target damaging skills.

- At 280 skill points add :tripod[Shackling Blue Dragon, Blitz] to :skill[Shackling Blue Dragon]
- At 296 skill points add :tripod[Starfall Pounce, Quick Prep] to :skill[Starfall Pounce]
- At 300 skill points add :tripod[Spiraling Spear, Firepower Control] to :skill[Spiraling Spear]

- :skill[Windsplitter] is an AOE skill that pulls mobs into a small space while dealing damage. It is a good skill to combo with other damage dealing skills
- :skill[Flash Kick] is used for moving around and luring mobs into bigger packs
- :skill[Double Strike] low cooldown skill used to apply :rune[Bleed, 4] effect
- :skill[Chain Slash] low cooldown skill used to stagger mobs
- :skill[Cutting Wind] high damage dealing AOE skill
- :skill[Soul Cutter] farms identity with :tripod[Soul Cutter, Firepower Control] tripod
- :skill[Raging Dragon Slash] high damage dealing AOE skill

### Combat Stats
Glaivier is a class that heavily benefits from high **Specialization** due to constant identity gauge farm to swap stances for great buffs on swap. Adding **Swiftness** as a secondary stat on necklace will benefit Glaivier with increased attack and move speed with lower cooldowns, as you already gain a lot of **Crit** from tripods and swapping stances, Specialization and Swiftness are the two main stats to focus.

### Runes
Having perfect rune setup for chaos dungeons and cube is not important, and you will only want to prioritize 2 runes

- :rune[Bleed, 4] on :skill[Double Strike] and :skill[Chain Slash]
- :rune[Galewind, 3] on :skill[Raging Dragon Slash], :skill[Thrust of Destruction] and :skill[Cutting Wind]

You can equip the runes you have on whichever skills as they do not matter to much and won't slow down your clearing

### Gameplay and Rotation
Chaos Dungeons and Cube is fairly easy to complete but regardless of that you should still make it even easier for yourself by having a good rotation and knowing which skills to use in different situations so your clearing is much faster and efficient. You do not have nor need perfect rotation but try to follow these:

1. Always group up and lure mobs by running around until they are all packed
2. Use :skill[Windsplitter] then combo straight after with :skill[Cutting Wind]
3. Next pack of mobs use :skill[Shackling Blue Dragon] for medium damage and crit debuff on hit
4. Combo :skill[Raging Dragon Slash] for massive amounts of damage
5. Swap to **Sun Stance** and use :skill[Starfall Pounce] to clear any other remaining low HP mobs
6. :skill[4-Headed Dragon] For next wave of mobs while you use :skill[Thrust of Destruction] to deal with elite mobs
7. Swap back to **Moon Stance** after you fill up identity gauge
8. Rinse and repeat whole process until everything is cleared

### Summary
- Glaivier has an excellent AOE clear in **Moon Stance** while having high single target burst skills in **Sun Stance** to deal with elites and bosses
- Always use your awakening skill :skill[Yeon-Style Spear Technique: Spear Meteor] to kill boss in Stage 2 fast. The cooldown will be refresh upon kill
- Make sure you are grouping up mobs before using any of your moon skills with high AOE damage
- Finish off low HP mobs while you are in **Sun Stance**
- Use filler skills while everything is on cooldown
- Always swap stances when the meter is filled to gain maximum bonuses

### Intro
Glaivier is quite a unique and very versatile class that offers a very strong build setup very early. her main power comes from class engravings and swapping stances, combined with high specialization, which can even further increase those bonuses. This build focuses on balancing utility, survivability and damage. As many other classes Glaivier does not run any counter-attack skills and this spot can be occupied by more utility based skills. There is also a lot of versatility when it comes to engravings as you only need 4 core DPS engravings, leaving the last 2 engravings optional between multiple viable choices. Getting a 6 engraving setup will take time and Glaivier can already excel with only 3-4 engravings.

### Skill Progression
- At 280 skill points add :tripod[Thrust of Destruction, Weak Point Detection] to :skill[Thrust of Destruction]
- At 296 skill points add :tripod[Thrust of Destruction, Speartip Thrust] to :skill[Thrust of Destruction]
- At 324 skill points add :tripod[Thrust of Destruction, Air-Ripping Thrust] to :skill[Thrust of Destruction]
- At 328 skill points add :tripod[Spiraling Spear, Firepower Control] to :skill[Spiraling Spear]
- At 344 skill points add :tripod[Stampeding Slash, Enhanced Strike] to :skill[Stampeding Slash]
- At this point your main skill build is finished and you will want to use this until you get to 356 skill points where you can either go level 10 on :skill[Stampeding Slash] by taking :tripod[Stampeding Slash, Ripping Blades] or level 10 on :skill[Wheel of Blades] by taking :tripod[Wheel of Blades, Consecutive Spin]
- At 356+ skill points start upgrading :skill[Red Dragon's Horn], :skill[Starfall Pounce] and :skill[Thrust of Destruction] as you unlock skill points. Feel free to remove some skill points from skills like :skill[Stampeding Slash] or :skill[Wheel of Blades] if you are in need for more skill points.

### Skill Breakdown
- :skill[Shackling Blue Dragon] is only and main debuff on target. It reduces crit resistance on the target by 18% for 6 seconds. It has small AOE range so make sure you are close to the target. It also does Destruction damage which is very useful on certain bosses
- :skill[Half Moon Slash] deal decent damage, stagger and destruction. It consumes 20% identity meter so use it in the middle of whole skill rotation
- :skill[Raging Dragon Slash] deals decent damage and stagger while farming identity meter
- :skill[Stampeding Slash] low cooldown skill used as a filler to farm identity meter and proc rune effects
- :skill[Flash Kick] movement skills. Can also be used at level 1, but with :tripod[Flash Kick, Excellent Mobility] tripod 2 extra meters can make a huge difference
- :skill[Vault] counter skill that can also be used as movement skill with :tripod[Vault, Excellent Mobility] tripod
- :skill[Wheel of Blades] filler skill that is used to farm identity meter while providing stagger damage. It is used to proc the effect as well
- :skill[Chain Slash] movement skill that is only usable at level 4 with :tripod[Chain Slash, Swoop] to give you extra 6 meter distance
- :skill[Red Dragon's Horn] highest damage dealing skill that has 100% critical chance with :tripod[Red Dragon's Horn, Spear of Destruction] tripod
- :skill[Thrust of Destruction] second highest damage dealing skill that requires full charge and good positioning to fully take advantage of :tripod[Thrust of Destruction, Speartip Thrust] tripod
- :skill[Starfall Pounce] third highest damage dealing skill that is used at the end of main damage dealing rotation
- :skill[Dragonscale Defense] defensive ability that allows you to absorb 1 attack and counter-attack by striking back. 
- :skill[Spiraling Spear] does weak damage, but has destruction. Its used in two different occasions. One if you missed one of your 3 hard hitting skills and you need to gain extra identity meter with :tripod[Spiraling Spear, Firepower Control] tripod, or if you need to break armor by using its destruction effect.
- :skill[4-Headed Dragon] fairly useless skill that does low damage and is only used if you miss your main 3 damage dealing skills and you need some extra identity meter before swapping stance
- :skill[Yeon-Style Spear Technique: Spear Meteor] is the preferred awakening skill as it has much lower cast time and deals significant AOE damage

### Combat Stats
Glaivier with :engraving[Pinnacle] class engraving heavily relies on high Specialization which also buffs the bonuses you gain from swapping stances. With 1200 Specialization these bonuses are almost tripled. As a secondary stat Glaivier runs Swiftness on necklace as the need for faster attack and move speed, while having slightly reduced cooldowns helps more than running Crit. Crit is not needed for Glaivier as most of the hard hitting skills in combination with bonuses from :engraving[Pinnacle] class engraving and swapping stances will grant more than enough Crit chance to deal massive amounts of damage.

### Runes
A good rune setup is important for every class and Glaivier is not an exception. The most optimal rune setup is as follows:

- :rune[Galewind, 3] on :skill[Red Dragon's Horn] until you unlock the legendary version of it
- :rune[Galewind, 3] on :skill[Raging Dragon Slash]
- :rune[Galewind, 3] on :skill[Thrust of Destruction]
- :rune[Bleed, 4] on :skill[Stampeding Slash]
- :rune[Conviction, 4] on :skill[Half Moon Slash]
- :rune[Judgment, 4] on :skill[Wheel of Blades]
- :rune[Wealth, 4] on :skill[Starfall Pounce]

### Engravings
Starter Engravings

- :engraving[Pinnacle] doubles the bonuses of switching the stances at level 3, which is doubled even more with high Specialization. Swapping stance from Sun to Moon gives, depending on your Specialization, up to +40% attack speed, +58% crit chance and +45% pure damage for 20 seconds while swapping stance from Moon to Sun gives, depending on specialization, up to +40% movement speed, +110% critical damage and +60% pure damage for 11 seconds.
- :engraving[Grudge] best damage dealing engravings giving you at level 3, 20% extra damage on bosses while giving a negative effect of taking 20% more damage from every hit
- :engraving[Keen Blunt Weapon] at level 3 increases critical damage by 50% which goes really well with high crit chance Glaivier is already getting from all the bonuses

Add-on End Game Engravings
- :engraving[Cursed Doll] at level 3 gives massive increase in attack power but has a negative effect of -25% reduced healing
- :engraving[Increases Mass] increases attack power while reducing attack speed
- :engraving[Raid Captain] increases damage based on % of movement speed, which works well with high movement speed bonuses Glaivier gets from swapping stances
- :engraving[Adrenaline] is optional if you really need that extra crit chance
- :engraving[Drops of Ether] optional and has been used a lot by Korean players. Gives you attack power that stacks based on how many ethers you pick up
- :engraving[Awakening] optional engraving that buffs your awakening skill and reduced the cooldown

### Gems
Gems are split into two types; attack gems and cooldown gems. You can only equip 11 different gems and it is important to have a balanced setup of attack and cooldown gems. Optimal gem setup for Glaivier is as follows:

### Gameplay and Rotation
Glaivier is a class that has a specific rotation in both Moon and Sun stance. Moon stance rotation is oriented to farming identity meter while also dealing significant damage and Sun stance is focused on dealing raw damage while also gaining identity meter for a bonus on swapping back to Moon Stance. That same rotation is done all the time with few exceptions where you are allowed to use filler skills to farm up additional identity meter in case you missed one of the key skills. The main rotation is as follows:

1. :skill[Shackling Blue Dragon] for 6 second crit resistance debuff
2. :skill[Raging Dragon Slash]
3. :skill[Half Moon Slash]
4. :skill[Wheel of Blades] and/or :skill[Stampeding Slash] depending on cooldown and positioning
5. Swap to Sun stance
6. :skill[Red Dragon's Horn] + :skill[Thrust of Destruction] + :skill[Starfall Pounce] for massive damage
7. Optional if you missed one of the three Sun skills :skill[Spiraling Spear] + :skill[4-Headed Dragon] to gain full identity meter
8. Swap to Moon Stance
9. If whole Sun stance rotation went perfectly without any delays and repositioning, you will have 2-4 seconds cooldown left on :skill[Shackling Blue Dragon], but in most cases this will be off cooldown when you finish your Sun rotation
10. If most Moon skills are on cooldown after swapping from Sun stance, use :skill[Yeon-Style Spear Technique: Spear Meteor] after debuffing the boss with :skill[Shackling Blue Dragon]
12. If debuff is gone, continue with normal Moon and Sun rotation without it
13. Repeat from step number 1

### Summary
- Glaivier is a unique and versatile class that offers utility, survivability and high damage
- Always start your rotation with :skill[Shackling Blue Dragon] to debuff the target
- Use filler skills when other skills are on cooldown
- Use other non-rotation skills to fill the missing gaps in identity gauge to farm it up to stage 3 before swapping stance
- Always swap stances when you have enough identity gauge for stage 3. The bonuses are too big to miss out on
- Use awakening after debuffing with :skill[Shackling Blue Dragon] when Moon skills are on cooldown
- You don't always need perfect rotation in Moon stance
- Position yourself properly and wait for boss attacks/mechanics to finish before you swap from Moon to Sun stance for free damage

Skill runes: Some of the skill runes can be switched to something else based on the content you are running but most of it is standard, also since the website is not listing some of the legendary runes since they are not in the game yet I will update the build once they are listed in future.

-PS. My build aim is for a minimum of 6/6 ability stones so the more you can score on the stone the cheaper you can buy accessories to manage 5 max engravings and since 9/6 or 9/7 stone is whale territory to get 5 engraving max and 6th at level 1 I'm going to discard that in my build.

-PPS. The skill points in this build are 412 which is considered to be the end game. therefore, you need to allocate SP towards this build when you are gaining more over time of your leveling and progression.

Once obtaining the Poem of Salvation relic set, Increased Mass' -10% Atk Speed becomes completely cancelled out. One big part of this build is not running Wheel of Blades for damage but only for stagger, if needed. Maxing out Chain Slash gives you some range on Blue Stance however you could swap Chain Slash for Wheel of Blades. Also Cutting Wind is used as a gage-gainer, you could very well take the points out of it and use them elsewhere. This build is focused on the Red Stance so do whatever you feel is best!

Red Skill Focused Pinnacle Build

My own glaivier build catered to my playstyle! Not too fast, not too slow (in terms of skill animations). CDs are not fully calculated however, so I'm not too sure if the flow of CDs is ok compared to the meta build. 75% Spec, 25% Swift Stats in mind.

Notable differences compared to recommended/meta build:
- :skill[Raging Dragon Slash] uses :tripod[Raging Dragon Slash, Additional Slash] (2nd fastest tripod, hence medium speed)
- :skill[Half Moon Slash] uses :tripod[Half Moon Slash, Chasing Slash] (Slowest tripod, but in my opinion not that long of a hold skill)
- :skill[Windsplitter] is used as its 4th blue DPS skill instead of :skill[Chain Slash] (Rotation is tight under 6 second :skill[Shackling Blue Dragon] so only Windsplitter fits for optimal usage of the buff)
