### **Intro**

The Destroyer Chaos Dungeon/Cube build that makes you BOP right through there pancake smashing hordes of enemies. With his giant hammer the Destroyer makes use of cores to buff shield when using Gravity Release (purple) skills, taking very little damage himself as he simultaneously shields himself based on cores used. The Destroyer skills are very slow so it is recommended to always have :engraving[Super Charge] at level 3 before anything else.

### **Skill Progression**

- At 268 Skill Points upgrade :skill[Endure Pain] to level 7 and add :tripod[Endure Pain, Anti-Gravity].
- At 284 Skill Points upgrade :skill[Gravity Impact] to level 7 and add :tripod[Gravity Impact, Tough Mind].
- At 312 Skill Points upgrade :skill[Gravity Impact] to level 10 and add :tripod[Gravity Impact, Will Enhancement].
- At 328 Skill Points upgrade :skill[Jumping Smash] to level 7 and add :tripod[Jumping Smash, Armor Destruction].
- At 340 Skill Points downgrade :skill[Jumping Smash] back down to 4 and upgrade :skill[Endure Pain] to level 10 and add :tripod[Endure Pain, Healthy Mentality].
- At 356 Skill Points re-upgrade :skill[Jumping Smash] to level 7 and add :tripod[Jumping Smash, Armor Destruction].
- At 384 Skill Points upgrade :skill[Jumping Smash] to level 10 and add :tripod[Jumping Smash, Smash].

**Alternatives**

- You could use the charge tripod :tripod[Full Swing, Beast's Eye] on :skill[Full Swing] for more Elite/Boss damage.
- Alternatively you could swap out the :skill[Earth Eater] tripods for :tripod[Earth Eater, Red Shards] and :tripod[Earth Eater, Rock Storm] for a fun spin to win skill.
- For level 55/60 upgrading abilities you will downgrade :skill[Jumping Smash] down where needed to upgrade your Gravity Release (purple) skills to 11/12.

### **Skill Breakdown**

- :skill[Heavy Crush] is your primary multi-hit skill that generates 1 core.
- :skill[Gravity Impact] is your combo multi-hit skill that generates 2 cores and keeps foes in place at level 10.
- :skill[Jumping Smash] is your mobility/filler skill that generates 2 cores.
- :skill[Endure Pain] is your utility filler for damage resistance/shielding that generates 3 cores.
- :skill[Earth Eater] is your primary Gravity Release Elite/Trash clearing skill it hits a absolutely insanely large area 1 hit killing most if not all Elites in the process.
- :skill[Full Swing] is a quick Gravity Release filler skill that clears out trash easily.
- :skill[Perfect Swing] is a quick Gravity Release filler skill that also sends out a wave of damage and can do destructive damage with the :rune[Bleed, 3] proc on the energy wave.
- :skill[Seismic Hammer] is your second primary Gravity Release skill that does massive destructive AoE damage.
- :skill[Big Bang] is your Awakening skill that when fully charged will delete everything it hits.
- :idskill[Hypergravity] is your identity gauge skill that makes your auto attacks do very high damage and gives a 60% max HP shield with Push/Debuff Immunity.

### **Gameplay**

For ease of use during Chaos Dungeon and Cube content:

- When starting stage 1 run to a wall and look towards the center of the room spamming :skill[Heavy Crush] combined with :skill[Gravity Impact] to generate 3 cores and release with :skill[Earth Eater] and then follow with the remaining Gravity Release skills repeating the process until stage 2.
- At stage 2 gather up the mobs and Elites generate 3 orbs with either :skill[Endure Pain] or :skill[Heavy Crush] with :skill[Jumping Smash] or :skill[Gravity Impact] then aim your :skill[Earth Eater] hitting all Elites at once to instantly clear them off your screen. Use your :skill[Jumping Smash] to get around for mobility where desired. You can also use your :skill[Seismic Hammer] very effectively in this stage.
- For killing the first group of Elites and/or the Boss of stage 2 feel free to use your :skill[Big Bang] to easily clear them out as you will get your cooldowns back from killing Elites and/or the Boss.
- At stage 3 when you have the cooldown buff from the Rift Crystals you can permanently spam :skill[Gravity Impact] as long as it hits a few enemies to trigger the instant reset.
- Make sure to utilize your identity gauge properly with 3 cores on Gravity Release skills for maximum damage and survivability increase.

### **Stats**

Use the stats that are relevant to your Class Engraving and Tier relevant gear.

### **Runes**

The runes selected enhance the natural ability of the skills and help activate them faster and do extra damage with :rune[Bleed, 4], use the highest available for the ones selected in the skill planner, this does not have to be perfect but the better they are the easier it makes things.

### **Summary**

- The Destroyer is a very tanky hammer slamming class that easily slams through the Chaos dungeon taking very little damage due to the identy gauge self-shielding.
- Make sure to use 3 cores for maximum damage output and shielding to use less potions.
- Cooldown reduction buffs are gained from killing Elites, Bosses and destroying Rift Crystals.
-Utilize your :skill[Big Bang] to easily kill Elites and Bosses to regain the cooldown reduction for it and other abilities.

Destroyer - Chaos Dungeon/Cube Build

### **Intro**

The "Bonk" Destroyer Raid build guide, whacking your enemies and absolutely destroying stagger checks and armor destroying with your weak point is what you do best! Though he is super dependent on :engraving[Super Charge] at level 3, with it he will be super satisfying to literally pancake smash every enemy you run into. You will constantly be in the front of the boss whilst heavily shielding yourself waving your hammer in the bosses face.

### **Skill Point Progression**

- At 268 Skill Points upgrade :skill[Jumping Smash] to level 7 and add :tripod[Jumping Smash, Armor Destruction].
- At 284 Skill Points upgrade :skill[Dreadnaught] to level 7 and add :tripod[Dreadnaught, Toughened Body].
- At 312 Skill Points upgrade :skill[Jumping Smash] to level 10 and add :tripod[Jumping Smash, Smash].
- At 340 Skill Points upgrade :skill[Dreadnaught] to level 10 and add :tripod[Dreadnaught, Violent Hammer].

When you hit level 55/60 prioritize upgrading your purple abilities to level 11/12 and downgrade :skill[Heavy Crush] to level 4 if needed.

**Alternative**

- For slightly more damage you can swap out :skill[Dreadnaught] with :skill[Power Strike] with tripods 3, 1, 1 :tripod[Power Strike, Agile Movement]:tripod[Power Strike, Armor Destruction]:tripod[Power Strike, Endless Assault].
- You can take :skill[Seismic Hammer] :tripod[Seismic Hammer, Quick Prep] if you don't think you need the Push Immunity from :tripod[Seismic Hammer, Tenacity].
- You can also take :skill[Full Swing] :tripod[Full Swing, Quick Prep] for lower cooldown instead of a slightly faster charge time. In addition to this you can put in a :rune[Overwhelm, 3] rune for heavy stagger checks instead of :rune[Galewind, 3] or :rune[Quick Recharge, 3].

### **Skill Breakdown**

- :skill[Heavy Crush] is your quick 1 core generation skill.
- :skill[Dreadnaught] is your counter/weakpoint/stagger skill that generates 2 cores with Push Immunity.
- :skill[Power Strike] is your other counter/stagger skill that generates 2 cores.
- :skill[Jumping Smash] is your primary synergy skill to apply :tripod[Jumping Smash, Armor Destruction] and generates 2 cores. Can be used as a gap closer.
- :skill[Endure Pain] is your semi-god mode Push-Immunity + Damage Resistance self-buff and :tripod[Endure Pain, Taunt] skill that generates 3 cores.
- :skill[Earth Eater] is a core release skill that has Push Immunity with high stagger/weak point its also easy to land due to it large range.
- :skill[Full Swing] is a core release skill that does good damage hits multiple times with a hard hitting final hit.
- :skill[Perfect Swing] is a core release skill that does your highest damage with the slowest charge up.
- :skill[Seismic Hammer] is a core release skill that has no charge up and does massive stagger/weak point damage and uses a Push Immunity tripod.
- :skill[Big Bang] is the Awakening that does the most damage also offering damage resistance whilst charging it up.

### **Gameplay**

- You will focus on building 3 Cores to enhance using Gravity Release skills. Gravity Release skills deal the most damage when consuming 3 Cores also adding a shield per Core consumed. You need to always be aware of your and the bosses position before using your Gravity Release skills to judge whether you can soak the incoming damage with the shield and hit it within the charge time and skill range.
- You can use :idskill[Hypergravity] when you are certain the boss will stay in place for the full or most of the duration as not to miss any of the attacks. There is no reason to use the active ability  because it does very little damage so its best to just hold your attack button for maximum damage. During :idskill[Hypergravity] you gain a 60% max HP shield, Push Imminuty and Debuff Immunity.
- You can cancel the animation of :skill[Seismic Hammer] with :skill[Spacebar].
- If possible you want to use :skill[Endure Pain] to give yourself Push Immunity to easier land :skill[Perfect Swing] and :skill[Full Swing].
- A special note is that you can use :skill[Endure Pain] with the :tripod[Endure Pain, Hidden Pain] to have a brief near God-mode state for encounters where this might be valuable.

If :skill[Endure Pain] is available to freely use (no mechanic to interrupt or damage resistance to survive a specific mechanic):

*Note: Destroyer has a lot of good Stagger skills so you have to judge whether you need to use more then 2 purple skills to finish a stagger check as not to lose to much dps after. It might be better to only use the first 2 purple skills if available.*

### **Stats**

:engraving[Rage Hammer] Destroyers focus on Crit with a balance of Swiftness and Specialization in higher Tier 3. There are 3 setup choices for stat distribution..

- The balanced setup aims for 1000+ Crit 500 Swiftness and 500 Specialization in that order of importance.
- The comfort setup aims for 1300+ Crit and 700 Swiftness.
- The big numbers setup goes 50/50 on Crit and Specialization.

Super end-game you can run a 1500/500/500 setup to get the best of all worlds or perhaps even a 1000/1000/500 setup for higher damage hits instead of Crit consistency. 

### **Engravings**

Early engravings are vastly different then later ones making :engraving[Super Charge] the most important level 3 engraving to focus on early on. Below are the recommended engravings for the Destroyer.

**Starter Engravings**

- :engraving[Super Charge] is the most important engraving for 3 of your Gravity Release skills :skill[Earth Eater], :skill[Full Swing] and :skill[Perfect Swing]. Without this engraving the class overall feels super sluggish.
- :engraving[Rage Hammer] gives a good amount of Crit Rate and crit Damage per Core consumed when using Gravity release skills.
- :engraving[Barricade] will increase all your Gravity release skills damage as you get a shield based on the number of Cores consumed for 3 seconds after using the skill.

**Endgame/Advanced Engravings**

- :engraving[Master brawler] is good for the Destroyer as the majority of the skills are Head Attack skills.
- :engraving[Spirit Absorption] can be used for comfort as it gives a significant amount of Attack/Movement Speed at Level 3.
- :engraving[Grudge]* increases your damage the most but will make you take more damage with how tanky the Destroyer is during Gravity release skills its not as tough to have as other classes.
- :engraving[Cursed Doll]* gives a good amount of Attack Power but lowers your healing received from all sources by 25%. This engraving would be a 5th engraving choice.

(*) These engravings should only be used at level 3.

**Optimal Setups**

Prioritize Top to bottom Engravings first. Note that both these setups are optimal just a change in preference.

### **Gear Sets**

For the Argos set you want to use the Preordained Diligence set.

At 1445 item level you want to keep using 2 pieces of Argos Chest and Pants. However if you did 2 Normal Valtan runs before progressing to Hard Valtan you could replace these 2 pieces with the Beast Set Chest and Pants.
The Relic pieces you want to be using are Helmet and Weapon from either the Earth's Entropy OR Nightmare set combined with Gloves and Shoulders from the Poem set.

### **Gear Skill Tree and Tripods**

Once you enter Tier 3 there will be gear that starts dropping to enhance your abilities through the tripods. Tripods levels go up to a maximum of 5 (+4 on gear) and each level can enhance the effect of the tripod for example, damage, cooldown, buff intensity and mana cost.

Recommended tripods to focus on for the Destroyer are the following:

### **Card Sets**

Cards are an endgame system to maximize your characters potential. Below are some of the recommended sets/setups for this class.
You have a total of 6 card slots available and can create several combinations until you start working on Awakening piece sets and reach their minimum requirements.

- Beginner Card Sets
- :cardset[Field Boss II] 4 Set. This will give you +8.00% Max Health.
- :cardset[Romanticist] 2 Set. Lowers your Movement Skill Cooldown by -10%.

Or

- :cardset[Forest of Giants] 3 Set. This increases the Effectiveness of your recovery items by +15%. (Best Value non-awakening card set).
- :cardset[We'll Meet Again] 3 Set. This will give you -12% Damage taken while below 50% max Health. And at 9-Awakening an additional -18% Damage taken while below 50%.

You can also combine the Forest of Giants 3 Set with a Field Boss 2 Set for the +4.00% Max Health boost instead or Romanticist 2 Set for Cooldown reduction on your dodge.

These sets are obtainable early on in the game and give you a slightly better time playing as you learn and get better and until something better becomes available as the ones mentioned below.

- Budget Card Set
- :cardset[Lostwind Cliff] 6 set (12-piece Awakening) This will give you Crit rate +7.00%.

The Lostwind Cliff card set gives you a nice Crit bonus at a more acceptable rate of awakening, leveling this up beyond 12-piece Awakening doesn't have enough investment value. It might take you a while to get it however the Seria and Solas cards are to a degree farm-able instead of being purely luck dependent. (Note: Requires full 6 piece set to be equipped).

- Optimal Damage Card Set
-:cardset[Light of Salvation] 6 Set(12-piece Awakening) Converts your damage type to Holy.
-Light of Salvation 6 Set(18-piece Awakening) Holy Damage +7.00%
-Light of Salvation 6 Set(30-piece Awakening) Holy Damage +8.00%

This card set will increase your raw damage output by a total of 15.00%, a added bonus to that is the +30.00% Dark Damage Reduction it gives.
The Light of Salvation card set is the best damaging card set for all DPS characters in the game but will take very long to complete to a 30-piece Awakening stage. This is a super-long-term goal. (Note: Requires full 6 piece set to be equipped).

### **Summary**

- The Destroyer is slow but tanky during its slow attack charges and animations.
- Blue skills (Concentration) generate Cores while Purple (Gravity Release) skills consume cores to increase their damage and grant 10/20/30% max HP shield accordingly.
- The :engraving[Rage Hammer] build focuses on maximizing your damage output with Gravity Release skills witha high Crit main stat and a balance between Specialization and Swiftness to increase damage and cooldown/movement and attack speed.
- You can give yourself Push Immunity with :skill[Endure Pain] to easier land non-Push Immune skills.
- You can cancel and quick cast your :skill[Seismic Hammer] with :skill[Spacebar].
- Always use your :skill[Endure Pain] to taunt the Boss away from your team when its available.
- :idskill[Hypergravity] is best used when a Boss is going to stay stationary or close to you and to avoid damage while doing damage.
- Most of the Destroyers skills have high stagger and weak point so you are always a major asset to armor breaking and stagger checks.
- With :tripod[Endure Pain, Hidden Pain] you can enter a near God-mode state for a brief moment when using :skill[Endure Pain]
- Your :skill[Big Bang] Awakening skill has good damage resistance while charging so it can be used without to much concern of taking fatal damage.
