Intro

The Destroyer Chaos Dungeon/Cube build that makes you BOP right through there pancake smashing hordes of enemies. With his giant hammer the Destroyer makes use of cores to buff shield when using Gravity Release (purple) skills, taking very little damage himself as he simultaneously shields himself based on cores used. The Destroyer skills are very slow so it is recommended to always have Super Charge at level 3 before anything else.

Skill Progression

  • At 268 Skill Points upgrade Endure Pain to level 7 and add Endure Pain, Anti-Gravity.
  • At 284 Skill Points upgrade Gravity Impact to level 7 and add Gravity Impact, Tough Mind.
  • At 312 Skill Points upgrade Gravity Impact to level 10 and add Gravity Impact, Will Enhancement.
  • At 328 Skill Points upgrade Jumping Smash to level 7 and add Jumping Smash, Armor Destruction.
  • At 340 Skill Points downgrade Jumping Smash back down to 4 and upgrade Endure Pain to level 10 and add Endure Pain, Healthy Mentality.
  • At 356 Skill Points re-upgrade Jumping Smash to level 7 and add Jumping Smash, Armor Destruction.
  • At 384 Skill Points upgrade Jumping Smash to level 10 and add Jumping Smash, Smash.

Alternatives

  • You could use the charge tripod Full Swing, Beast's Eye on Full Swing for more Elite/Boss damage.
  • Alternatively you could swap out the Earth Eater tripods for Earth Eater, Red Shards and Earth Eater, Rock Storm for a fun spin to win skill.
  • For level 55/60 upgrading abilities you will downgrade Jumping Smash down where needed to upgrade your Gravity Release (purple) skills to 11/12.

Skill Breakdown

  • Heavy Crush is your primary multi-hit skill that generates 1 core.
  • Gravity Impact is your combo multi-hit skill that generates 2 cores and keeps foes in place at level 10.
  • Jumping Smash is your mobility/filler skill that generates 2 cores.
  • Endure Pain is your utility filler for damage resistance/shielding that generates 3 cores.
  • Earth Eater is your primary Gravity Release Elite/Trash clearing skill it hits a absolutely insanely large area 1 hit killing most if not all Elites in the process.
  • Full Swing is a quick Gravity Release filler skill that clears out trash easily.
  • Perfect Swing is a quick Gravity Release filler skill that also sends out a wave of damage and can do destructive damage with the Bleed, 3 proc on the energy wave.
  • Seismic Hammer is your second primary Gravity Release skill that does massive destructive AoE damage.
  • Big Bang is your Awakening skill that when fully charged will delete everything it hits.
  • Hypergravity is your identity gauge skill that makes your auto attacks do very high damage and gives a 60% max HP shield with Push/Debuff Immunity.

Gameplay

For ease of use during Chaos Dungeon and Cube content:

  • When starting stage 1 run to a wall and look towards the center of the room spamming Heavy Crush combined with Gravity Impact to generate 3 cores and release with Earth Eater and then follow with the remaining Gravity Release skills repeating the process until stage 2.
  • At stage 2 gather up the mobs and Elites generate 3 orbs with either Endure Pain or Heavy Crush with Jumping Smash or Gravity Impact then aim your Earth Eater hitting all Elites at once to instantly clear them off your screen. Use your Jumping Smash to get around for mobility where desired. You can also use your Seismic Hammer very effectively in this stage.
  • For killing the first group of Elites and/or the Boss of stage 2 feel free to use your Big Bang to easily clear them out as you will get your cooldowns back from killing Elites and/or the Boss.
  • At stage 3 when you have the cooldown buff from the Rift Crystals you can permanently spam Gravity Impact as long as it hits a few enemies to trigger the instant reset.
  • Make sure to utilize your identity gauge properly with 3 cores on Gravity Release skills for maximum damage and survivability increase.

Stats

Use the stats that are relevant to your Class Engraving and Tier relevant gear.

Runes

The runes selected enhance the natural ability of the skills and help activate them faster and do extra damage with Bleed, 4, use the highest available for the ones selected in the skill planner, this does not have to be perfect but the better they are the easier it makes things.

Summary

  • The Destroyer is a very tanky hammer slamming class that easily slams through the Chaos dungeon taking very little damage due to the identy gauge self-shielding.
  • Make sure to use 3 cores for maximum damage output and shielding to use less potions.
  • Cooldown reduction buffs are gained from killing Elites, Bosses and destroying Rift Crystals. -Utilize your Big Bang to easily kill Elites and Bosses to regain the cooldown reduction for it and other abilities.
