When you hit level 55/60 prioritize upgrading your purple abilities to level 11/12 and downgrade
- For slightly more damage you can swap out
Dreadnaughtwith Power Strikewith tripods 3, 1, 1 Power Strike, Agile Movement Power Strike, Armor Destruction Power Strike, Endless Assault.
- You can take
Seismic Hammer Seismic Hammer, Quick Prepif you don't think you need the Push Immunity from Seismic Hammer, Tenacity.
- You can also take
Full Swing Full Swing, Quick Prepfor lower cooldown instead of a slightly faster charge time. In addition to this you can put in a Overwhelm, 3rune for heavy stagger checks instead of Galewind, 3or Quick Recharge, 3.
Heavy Crushis your quick 1 core generation skill. Dreadnaughtis your counter/weakpoint/stagger skill that generates 2 cores with Push Immunity. Power Strikeis your other counter/stagger skill that generates 2 cores. Jumping Smashis your primary synergy skill to apply Jumping Smash, Armor Destructionand generates 2 cores. Can be used as a gap closer. Endure Painis your semi-god mode Push-Immunity + Damage Resistance self-buff and Endure Pain, Tauntskill that generates 3 cores. Earth Eateris a core release skill that has Push Immunity with high stagger/weak point its also easy to land due to it large range. Full Swingis a core release skill that does good damage hits multiple times with a hard hitting final hit. Perfect Swingis a core release skill that does your highest damage with the slowest charge up. Seismic Hammeris a core release skill that has no charge up and does massive stagger/weak point damage and uses a Push Immunity tripod. Big Bangis the Awakening that does the most damage also offering damage resistance whilst charging it up.
- You will focus on building 3 Cores to enhance using Gravity Release skills. Gravity Release skills deal the most damage when consuming 3 Cores also adding a shield per Core consumed. You need to always be aware of your and the bosses position before using your Gravity Release skills to judge whether you can soak the incoming damage with the shield and hit it within the charge time and skill range.
- You can use
Hypergravitywhen you are certain the boss will stay in place for the full or most of the duration as not to miss any of the attacks. There is no reason to use the active ability because it does very little damage so its best to just hold your attack button for maximum damage. During Hypergravityyou gain a 60% max HP shield, Push Imminuty and Debuff Immunity.
- You can cancel the animation of
Seismic Hammerwith Spacebar.
- If possible you want to use
Endure Painto give yourself Push Immunity to easier land Perfect Swingand Full Swing.
- A special note is that you can use
Endure Painwith the Endure Pain, Hidden Painto have a brief near God-mode state for encounters where this might be valuable.

Earth Eater Seismic Hammer Spacebarif available. Dreadnaught Full Swing Jumping Smash
Note: Destroyer has a lot of good Stagger skills so you have to judge whether you need to use more then 2 purple skills to finish a stagger check as not to lose to much dps after. It might be better to only use the first 2 purple skills if available.
- The balanced setup aims for 1000+ Crit 500 Swiftness and 500 Specialization in that order of importance.
- The comfort setup aims for 1300+ Crit and 700 Swiftness.
- The big numbers setup goes 50/50 on Crit and Specialization.
Super end-game you can run a 1500/500/500 setup to get the best of all worlds or perhaps even a 1000/1000/500 setup for higher damage hits instead of Crit consistency.
Early engravings are vastly different then later ones making
Super Chargeis the most important engraving for 3 of your Gravity Release skills Earth Eater, Full Swingand Perfect Swing. Without this engraving the class overall feels super sluggish. Rage Hammergives a good amount of Crit Rate and crit Damage per Core consumed when using Gravity release skills. Barricadewill increase all your Gravity release skills damage as you get a shield based on the number of Cores consumed for 3 seconds after using the skill.
Master brawleris good for the Destroyer as the majority of the skills are Head Attack skills. Spirit Absorptioncan be used for comfort as it gives a significant amount of Attack/Movement Speed at Level 3. Grudge* increases your damage the most but will make you take more damage with how tanky the Destroyer is during Gravity release skills its not as tough to have as other classes. Cursed Doll* gives a good amount of Attack Power but lowers your healing received from all sources by 25%. This engraving would be a 5th engraving choice.
(*) These engravings should only be used at level 3.
Prioritize Top to bottom Engravings first. Note that both these setups are optimal just a change in preference.

For the Argos set you want to use the Preordained Diligence set.
At 1445 item level you want to keep using 2 pieces of Argos Chest and Pants. However if you did 2 Normal Valtan runs before progressing to Hard Valtan you could replace these 2 pieces with the Beast Set Chest and Pants. The Relic pieces you want to be using are Helmet and Weapon from either the Earth's Entropy OR Nightmare set combined with Gloves and Shoulders from the Poem set.

Gems grant bonus damage and cooldown reduction to specific skills. You can only equip 11 of these Gems at a time so it is recommended that you prioritize the Gems for your most important skills.

Gear Skill Tree and Tripods
Once you enter Tier 3 there will be gear that starts dropping to enhance your abilities through the tripods. Tripods levels go up to a maximum of 5 (+4 on gear) and each level can enhance the effect of the tripod for example, damage, cooldown, buff intensity and mana cost.
Recommended tripods to focus on for the Destroyer are the following:
Full Swing Full Swing, Agile Movementor Full Swing, Quick Prep Full Swing, Scary Hammer Full Swing, Beast's Eye Perfect Swing Perfect Swing, Weak Point Detection Perfect Swing, Absolute Strength Perfect Swing, Intemperance Seismic Hammer Seismic Hammer, Quick Prep Seismic Hammer, Absolute Strength Seismic Hammer, Starving Strength Earth Eater Earth Eater, Enhanced Strike Earth Eater, Earthen Rage Endure Pain Endure Pain, Healthy Mentality Dreadnaught Dreadnaught, Toughened Body Dreadnaught, Violent Hammer Jumping Smash Jumping Smash, Superior Change Jumping Smash, Smash Heavy Crush Heavy Crush, Law of the Jungle Heavy Crush, Aftershock*
Cards are an endgame system to maximize your characters potential. Below are some of the recommended sets/setups for this class. You have a total of 6 card slots available and can create several combinations until you start working on Awakening piece sets and reach their minimum requirements.
- Beginner Card Sets
Field Boss II4 Set. This will give you +8.00% Max Health. Romanticist2 Set. Lowers your Movement Skill Cooldown by -10%.
Forest of Giants3 Set. This increases the Effectiveness of your recovery items by +15%. (Best Value non-awakening card set). We'll Meet Again3 Set. This will give you -12% Damage taken while below 50% max Health. And at 9-Awakening an additional -18% Damage taken while below 50%.
You can also combine the Forest of Giants 3 Set with a Field Boss 2 Set for the +4.00% Max Health boost instead or Romanticist 2 Set for Cooldown reduction on your dodge.
These sets are obtainable early on in the game and give you a slightly better time playing as you learn and get better and until something better becomes available as the ones mentioned below.
- Budget Card Set
Lostwind Cliff6 set (12-piece Awakening) This will give you Crit rate +7.00%.
The Lostwind Cliff card set gives you a nice Crit bonus at a more acceptable rate of awakening, leveling this up beyond 12-piece Awakening doesn't have enough investment value. It might take you a while to get it however the Seria and Solas cards are to a degree farm-able instead of being purely luck dependent. (Note: Requires full 6 piece set to be equipped).
- Optimal Damage Card Set
Light of Salvation6 Set(12-piece Awakening) Converts your damage type to Holy. -Light of Salvation 6 Set(18-piece Awakening) Holy Damage +7.00% -Light of Salvation 6 Set(30-piece Awakening) Holy Damage +8.00%
This card set will increase your raw damage output by a total of 15.00%, a added bonus to that is the +30.00% Dark Damage Reduction it gives. The Light of Salvation card set is the best damaging card set for all DPS characters in the game but will take very long to complete to a 30-piece Awakening stage. This is a super-long-term goal. (Note: Requires full 6 piece set to be equipped).
- The Destroyer is slow but tanky during its slow attack charges and animations.
- Blue skills (Concentration) generate Cores while Purple (Gravity Release) skills consume cores to increase their damage and grant 10/20/30% max HP shield accordingly.
Rage Hammerbuild focuses on maximizing your damage output with Gravity Release skills witha high Crit main stat and a balance between Specialization and Swiftness to increase damage and cooldown/movement and attack speed.
- You can give yourself Push Immunity with
Endure Painto easier land non-Push Immune skills.
- You can cancel and quick cast your
Seismic Hammerwith Spacebar.
- Always use your
Endure Painto taunt the Boss away from your team when its available. Hypergravityis best used when a Boss is going to stay stationary or close to you and to avoid damage while doing damage.
- Most of the Destroyers skills have high stagger and weak point so you are always a major asset to armor breaking and stagger checks.
Endure Pain, Hidden Painyou can enter a near God-mode state for a brief moment when using Endure Pain
Big BangAwakening skill has good damage resistance while charging so it can be used without to much concern of taking fatal damage.
