The Deathblade has very fast paced slice and dice combat with hard hitting charge and holding abilities whilst dashing through enemies and jumping over bosses to make for fun game-play.
As she can reset her abilities frequently due to her Identity ability which also packs a punch she makes for a great assassin. With her AoE focused kit she rips through Chaos Dungeons and Cube content like no other. There are no Engraving requirements for this build however

For ease of use during Chaos Dungeon and Cube content:
- Round up mobs for easy AoE clears with
Moonlight Sonicand Death Sentencefor big AoE clearing, activate Maelstromfor AoE identity gauge generation and selfbuff attack/movement speed, follow this up with skills like Soul Absorber, Blitz Rushand Void Strikealso used for bursting Elites and Bosses.
- Where needed use
Dark Axelto move through packs of mobs or behind Elites/Bosses by jumping over them. Use Spincutterfor debuffing and extra movement utility.
- Use your
Flash Blinkwhen rounding up Elites or on the Bosses try to line it up as it dashes through all targets you aim towards hitting everything in its path. Elites and Boss kills in Chaos dungeons will lower your cooldowns significantly making it possible to use this multiple times during stages 2 and 3.
- Whenever you fill up your
Death Orbs to 2-3 you can activate Death Tranceto lower your active cooldowns and activate it again to consume the identity gauge to cast Deathblade Surgethat can 1-shot all trash mobs easily and do significant damage sometimes instant killing Elites and Bosses.
- In case you are not using any class engraving or using
Remaining Energyupon getting 2-3 Death Orbs available instantly double activate your Death Tranceinstant skill cooldown, mana regain and cast Deathblade Surge.
- In case you are using
Surgeyou want to use Deathblade Surgeat 14-20 stacks for better damage and better Death Orbreturn.
Use the same stats as you would for regular game-play thus focusing a 70% specialization 30% crit balance where possible.
The runes selected enhance the natural ability of the skills, use the highest available for the ones selected in the skill planner, this does not have to be perfect but the better they are the easier it makes things.
- Buff up with
Maelstromto speed up charging and channeling skills cast speed and movement speed.
Soul Absorber, Blitz Rushand Void Striketo easily burst down Elites and Bosses to get the Cooldown refresh from them.
- Cooldown reduction buffs are gained from killing Elites, Bosses and destroying Rift Crystals.
- Use your Awakening
Flash Blinkto hit multiple Elites to instantly kill them lowering all of your cooldowns tremendously and keep the combat flow going. Killing Bosses completely refreshes your cooldowns in Chaos Dungeons so make sure to use your Awakening Flash Blinkbecause you'll get it back after killing the Boss before moving onto the next stage.
