Intro

The Sorceress is a master of AoE thus utilizing a constant flow of these with the help of Preemptive Strike this build will have super high damage upkeep time whilst tearing through elites and bosses in Chaos Dungeons and Cube runs!

Skill Points Progression

  • At 256 skill points upgrade Inferno to 4 and take Inferno, Rift Acceleration
  • At 284 skill points upgrade Lightning Vortex to 10 and take Lightning Vortex, Fierce Lightning
  • At 328 skill points replace Inferno with Lightning Bolt level 10 Lightning Bolt, Quick Prep Lightning Bolt, Enhanced Strike Lightning Bolt, Branched Lightning with a Protection rune.
  • At 356 skill points upgrade Seraphic Hail to 10 and add Seraphic Hail, Red Hail
  • At 384 skill points upgrade Blaze to 10 and add Blaze, Undying Flame

Skill Breakdown

  • Blaze AoE Debuff / Damage Ability.
  • Seraphic Hail Pushing Damage Ability.
  • Reverse Gravity Big damage large AoE.
  • Ice Shower Identity Gauge generation and good Damage Ability.
  • Lightning Vortex Long big CC Ability good for making combos (bad damage).
  • Esoteric Reaction Strong AoE trash clear best combined with lightning vortex.
  • Punishing Strike Huge AoE Damage Nuke, best for instant wiping if all else is on cooldown or to instant kill elites/chunk boss health.
  • Inferno Decent damage filler AoE cc
  • Lightning Bolt Very Big cone AoE dmg and cc and good Identity Gauge generation.
  • Enviska's Might Big damage Awakening to instant kill everything.

Gameplay

For awakening ability use Enviska's Might.

  • For Chaos dungeons starting in the center of the first room you want to let the mobs run at you and start off with Reverse Gravity into Ice Shower then move to a choke point and use Blaze + Seraphic Hail then place down Lightning Vortex with a Esoteric Reaction on top of it slightly in front of you. As your cooldowns go use Punishing Strike to instant wipe trash mobs and Inferno as a filler.

  • Moving into stage 2 there will be elites that upon death give you a cooldown reduction find all 3 elite mobs round them up and make use of your Preemptive Strike with Enviska's Might then clear up the mobs until the next set of elites spawn but this time use Punishing Strike to instant kill the elites that you round up. This way your Enviska's Might will be available again once the boss spawns from picking up all the cooldown orbs from the elites (total 7). On boss spawn use Enviska's Might and as soon as the boss is dead and all elites are dead too move on to the next stage.

  • Moving into stage 3 run ahead of the pack of the monsters and put down your Blaze + Seraphic Hail and repeat the Lightning Vortex with a Esoteric Reaction on top of it slightly in front of you to kill all incoming mobs that remain. UseEnviska's Might or Punishing Strike to instant kill the elites and mob wave that come out of the crystals.

  • Cube runs are pretty simple, just make sure to save identity gauge for Blink for survive stages and only use Enviska's Might for elite boss stages. You will only have access to your number 1 health potions (5 green 5 blue 7 purple) across the full cube run, you will however respawn if you group up and happen to die but your team clears the stage with about 20% health. Use ability logic as explained before to group up mobs and kill bosses easily as stated before stacking Blaze + Seraphic Hail or Lightning Vortex with a Esoteric Reaction on top of it or Reverse Gravity into Ice Shower as you see fit for the situation.

Stats

For stats depending on what your primary build will be you will focus on Swiftness/Crit for Reflux or Specialization/Crit for Igniter

Summary

This build is designed for instant killing as much as frequent as possible and filling up the dead time effectively by rounding them up and repeating the process rapidly. Making use of Preemptive Strike to make this even more efficient as it will guarantee a crit with bonus crit dmg to full health enemies instantly demolishing our targets truly emphasizing the Punishing part in Punishing Strike.
