Intro

This Chaos/Cube Dungeon Paladin Build guide is meant to serve as a foundation for fresh Lv.50 players which would normally have around 252 Skill Points. If more skill points are available, feel free to add more to the ones in this build with less than 10 Skill Level. Chaos/Cube Dungeons are instances where players have to defeat waves of enemies with a timer running. Clearing stages quickly is imperative because if the timer runs out, you will fail the dungeon and lose 1 daily attempt or ticket.

Build Breakdown

While the standard approach is to play Paladin as a Support in other content, in Chaos/Cube Dungeons he can be built more like a Ranged AoE Caster in order to clear large groups of enemies quickly.

  • Holy Explosion - Ranged Massive AoE DMG with lingering DOT and long cooldown. Has a fairly long cast time as well so proper positioning is key.
  • Holy Protection - Melee Self bubble shield with long cooldown. Helps mitigate damage before an encounter.
  • Godsent Law - Ranged Large AoE DOT with moderate cooldown which staggers enemies and deals massive damage when fully executed. Has a moderate cast time but protects the user if cast nearby.
  • Executor's Sword - Melee Self Peel with Knock Up & Knock Down CC and moderate cooldown. Quick directional attack to initiate or follow up combos.
  • Wrath of God - Melee Massive AoE DMG with Stun CC and moderate cooldown. Should be cast at the center of large groups of enemies for highest effect.
  • Execution of Justice - Melee AoE DMG with Stagger CC and moderate cooldown. Should be cast at the center of large groups of enemies for highest effect.
  • Holy Sword - Melee Massive AoE Directional DMG with lingering DOT and moderate cooldown. Should be cast as a follow up to other CC skills and can lower its own cooldown when hitting large groups.
  • Heavenly Blessings - Melee+Ranged Massive AoE DMG with self buff and long cooldown. Should be cast at the center of large groups of enemies for highest effect.

(AoE = Area of Effect | DOT = Damage Over Time | DMG = Damage | CC = Crowd Control)

Skill Rotation

(Before any encounter it's always good to cast Holy Protection to mitigate damage)

  1. Group mobs by walking around them on the map and get in the center of the group, then cast Heavenly Blessings. This skill is by far your most devastating AoE ability, it's basically a delete button against nearby mobs.

  2. Group mobs and get in the center of the next wave then cast Wrath of God. This skill will stun enemies in a large area, so use it as a setup skill in order to cast Holy Sword, which should wipe large groups of enemies while leaving a lingering AoE DoT on the ground for the next wave of enemies.

  3. As other mobs begin to spawn, look for the largest group and cast Holy Protection, this skill takes some time to finish casting but once it does, it blows everything in the designated area as well as leaving behind an AoE DoT. Immediately after this finishes casting follow it up by casting Godsent Law at your feet, which will stagger enemies in the area and bring in more follow up damage.

  4. If any enemies still stand after all those devastating AoE abilities, follow up with Execution of Justice and Executor's Sword while waiting for other skills to come off cooldown in order to get right back into the rotation of your other skills.

Don't forget to activate your Identity Skill when you've generated enough resource for it in order to further assist you in battle. Also feel free to experiment with different combinations of these skills since they all link up well. Some are setups and some are damage so start building that muscle memory.
